It is speciallydesigned for civil engineeringapplications. It is available incapacities ranging from3500 kN to 10000 kN.OVERVIEWThe centerhole load cell comprises of a cylinder of high strengthmartensitic stainless steel. It generally uses eight 350 Ohmresistance strain gages, wired to form a 700 Ohmbridge forcapacity 3500 kN and 5000 kN. For capacities above 5000 kN,sixteen 350Ohm resistance strain gages are used to form a 1400Ohm bridge.To minimize the effect of unevenn and eccentric loading, the straingages are equally spaced along the circumference.
