ISSUANACE / EXTENSION OF TYPE RATED AMELD<strong>4.1</strong> GENERAL AVIATION (UP TO 5700 KGS MTOW)D<strong>4.1</strong>.1For Issuance / Extension of AMEL on General <strong>Aviation</strong> aircraft, followingcriteria shall be applied.D<strong>4.1</strong>.1.1“First” Type rated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License(AMEL) will be issued to a person having LWTR in relevantcategory after passing type written and type oralexamination. The application for issuance is to be submittedat local Airworthiness field office on prescribed PCAAapplication form i.e. CAAF-145-AWXX-1.0.
