SHOWERWATER SYSTEMSFigure 1 is a very typical water systemfound in most UK houses.To achieve a ‘power shower’ or to use highpressure taps, a pump must be installed onthe hot and cold supply. This would thengive pressure between 1 bar and 4 bar –depending on the pump used.Figure 1Standard LowPressure SystemFigure 2 is what is known as a‘megaflow’ high pressure system.The unvented cylinder stores hot waterand delivers it at ‘mains’ pressure which isbetween 2 bar and 3 bar. (60-100 ft head).It also gives balanced pressure to serve allbathroom fittings giving better showerdelivery etc. With this system there is nocold water storage.Did you know . . .Many properties in the UK need theirincoming water main to be replaced withlarger plastic pipes to increase flow if theyare to use this system. Failure to comply with the recommended fittinginstructions will invalidate the guarantee.BRASSWARE AND ACCESSORIESThere is a five year guarantee against manufacturing defects on brasswaresupplied by Saneux, as long as normal plumbing installation practices havebeen observed.WORKING PARTS AND COMPONENTSThere is a two year guarantee on all working parts and components suppliedwith any Saneux product, as long as installation has been carried outcorrectly.Light oak1.1 are installed in accordance with the fitting instructions supplied, with theproducts for use in a bathroom with suitable ventilation or a suitable extractorfan; and1.2 Where the product is a cistern or a tap, it is fitted in accordance withcurrent local and national water regulations;and1.3 Where the product is a Saneux solid surface, it has been stored flat atnormal room temperature prior to installation.2. In the unlikely event that a product supplied by Saneux - to which thisguarantee applies - fails within the guarantee period from the date ofpurchase, Saneux will supply the customer with a free replacement forthe part of the product that has failed, if such failure arises in Saneux’sreasonable opinion from defects in manufacture or quality of materialsand notice in writing giving details of the defects about which there is acomplaint given to Saneux. The replacement part supplied will be the nearestequivalent to the failed part available in Saneux’s range at the date thereplacement is supplied. Liability is limited to individual products and doesnot cover consequential loss or damage. The customer will be required to paythe cost of installation of the replacement part. Your statutory rights remainunaffected.When installing Saneux bathroom furniture into a new property or extensionwe strongly advise the building is dry, well ventilated and adequately heated.In the production of Saneux bathroom furniture, great care is taken in theselection of material. However, due to the manufacturing process, it is notpossible, nor do we feel desirable, to strive for total uniformity of shading andgrain pattern. Our aim is at all times to operate with controlled parameterswhich recognize that some variation is both acceptable and aestheticallypleasing. There is a 5 year guarantee on all Saneux bathroom furnitureagainst manufacturing defects.USAGEPlease note: our furniture cannot be used in wet rooms or rooms with minimalventilation. Our furniture should only be used in clean dry environments atroom temperature. It should also be situated away from sources of heat andsunlight. Exposure to these sources will cause the vinyl to crack and peel.Therefore this is not covered in our product guarantee.CLEANINGDo not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, polishes, waxes or steam cleaningtools.
