<strong>Underflow</strong> <strong>Magnet</strong>High Intensity – Rare EarthProduct Data:-Data Sheet No 509Preface:The <strong>Eclipse</strong> high intensity <strong>Underflow</strong> magnetic separator hasbeen designed to operate in arduous conditions and wherecontamination size is relatively large e.g. nuts, bolts etc.The unit incorporates two magnetic poles, which generate highintensity magnetic fields. The unit is secured to the chute via anintegral hinge and toggle clamp arrangement. It is these toggleclamps that ensures even pressure is generated around the sealto eliminate any product leakage.The <strong>Underflow</strong> magnet can be incorporated into any form ofangled pipe or chute section. A common installationLocation is raw material inlet points such as grain, rice, corn,bran and animal feed etc. Two catchment areas ensure thatattracted contamination cannot be ‘washed off’.As the magnet is usually installed in angled chute sections anyprocessed products of any size can be passed over the top ofthe magnet. Safety interlocks can be fitted to the magnet to stopthe process should it be accidentally opened.Cleaning:<strong>Underflow</strong> magnets are very easy to clean.
