By expanding on-siteas much as 200 times, it reduces thenumber of trucks needed for distribution.Material can also be returned to any Sealed Airlocation. In those communities where municipal Waste-To-Energy (WTE) incineration facilities are available, Instapak ®provides a positive waste-to-combustion contribution.Inflatable CushioningBy inflating on-site, inflatable cushioningfrees up valuable warehouse space anddecreases transportation costs. Highefficiency,performance cushioningmaterial reduces damage. Film strengthand superior air retention promote reusability.Inflatable Void FillFill Air ® Inflatable void fill productsexpand on-site. A cubic foot of inflatedcells, when deflated, will lose 99.3% of itsvolume. The deflated cells can be sent toany of a number of Sealed Air locationswhere they will be recycled back into LDPE.Air Cellular CushioningOur high-performance Bubble Wrap ®Brand air cellular material ismanufactured with a Barrier Bubble ®layer that retains air and maintains itscushioning performance. This makes it highly reusable,greatly reducing the amount of packaging material thatenters the waste stream.MailersJiffy Mailer ® products eliminate the useof bulky corrugated containers whenshipping low-profile items. Many areproduced from post-consumer recycledfibers and can be easily recycled in common“mixed paper” recycling streams.Paper PackagingTigerPad paper cushioning can berecycled with mixed paper. The PackTigerpaper system’s patented, single-motor designreduces power consumption. The fiber is 100%renewable, and all production scrap is reclaimed.Suspension/Retention PackagingKorrvu ® packaging is shipped flat andassembled on-site, as needed. The highperformancedesign can easily be reusedand is made from renewable cellulose paperfibers. It is easily recycled with commoncorrugated boxes.Cell-Aire ® FoamCell-Aire ® polyethylene foam providessuperior protection, allowing for fewerwraps or for the use of thinner material.Cell-Aire ® is made of recyclable, lowdensitypolyethylene that generates aclean, high-energy material for conversioninto energy.

For example, one trailer load ofInstapak ® Instafill ® void fill foamproduces the equivalentof 31 trailer loads ofstyrene peanuts.Recovery and DisposalMany of our materials, such as TigerPad paper, Korrvu ®packaging or Jiffy ® padded mailers, can be recycled curbside.Other materials, such as Bubble Wrap ® cushioning, Fill-Air ®packaging or Instapak ® foam, can be returned to Sealed Airlocations. If disposed, products like Fill-Air ® packaging deflateand lose 99.3% of their volume.
