Parents will be contacted about concerns, and must be notifiedprior to a student being sent home during the day.Early Checkout:If for any reason a student must be dismissed early, a note should be broughtin, and given to the <strong>of</strong>fice. The student must check out through the <strong>of</strong>ficewhen leaving. At no time should a student leave the building during theschool day, without following this procedure.Lates:The beginning is the most important part <strong>of</strong> any class. It is the time forinstructions, and preparation for class activities. To arrive late causes you tomiss directions and interrupts the progress <strong>of</strong> others.Late For School: If you are not in class prior to the final bell, report to the<strong>of</strong>fice to sign in and have your agenda stamped. If you have an excuse (e.g.medical, dental appt.) please have a parent call the ABSENCE HOTLINE at777-7190 –1. <strong>Student</strong>s with “Unexcused” lates will be expected to make uptime doing lunchroom cleanup or work around the school.Late For Class: At class change you are expected to report directly to yournext class. This is not a time to stop for drinks, washroom breaks, orconversation. Lates between classes are resolved with the teachersconcerned. * THERE IS A NINE MINUTE BREAK BETWEEN PERIODSTWO AND THREE FOR A LOCKER/NUTRITION BREAK.ASSEMBLIESDuring the year we will have a variety <strong>of</strong> assemblies. To move 800 plus studentsin and out <strong>of</strong> the gymnasium quickly will require moving in single file, and filling inall assigned seats. Our assemblies will vary in format from being formal whereappreciation is shown by clapping, to much more casual pep rallies where youare encouraged to participate actively and loudly. We will let you know whatbehavior is appropriate before each activity.ATHLETICSTom Baines School <strong>of</strong>fers a variety <strong>of</strong> athletic opportunities for each student’sparticipation. The lunch hour is used to <strong>of</strong>fer an intramural program that allowsstudents to drop in for activities following their lunch. This program is a scheduledprogram that allows all grade levels equal time in the gym. In addition, we run anumber <strong>of</strong> teams throughout the year. Some <strong>of</strong> the teams such as cross countryand wrestling are programs where all committed athletes make the team whilethe remaining teams limit the number <strong>of</strong> athletes. Our school participates withother schools involved in the <strong>Calgary</strong> Middle Level School Amateur Athletics,5


AWARDS AND RECOGNITION “Under Review”We believe that positive recognition for students must be an important part <strong>of</strong> thelife <strong>of</strong> Tom Baines School. This recognition has to be as diverse as possible, andrecognize all areas <strong>of</strong> school life, including academic, athletic and club pursuits,as well as personal involvement, service and citizenship. <strong>Student</strong>s arerecognized for their participation in teams, clubs, activities, and academicachievement. Team and club recognition comes at the end <strong>of</strong> each activity bytheir sponsor teacher. BICYCLES, SKATEBOARDS, HEELIES, AND ROLLERBLADESBicycles must be parked in the provided racks and be properly locked. Theschool does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen articles but will assiststudents to the extent possible if losses occur. All students who ride a bicycle,skateboard, “heelies”, or rollerblades to school are to wear a protective helmet.For safety reasons “heelies”, roller blades, and skateboards are not permitted onschool property.BUSING EXPECTATIONSCommon sense should govern student behavior in regard to buses:1. Always meet the driver’s expectations for behavior.2. Stand well back <strong>of</strong> the arriving or departing bus.3. Respect private property at bus stops.Remember that riding the bus is a privilege that can be revoked.CAFETERIAPrepared food is available for purchase from the lunchroom kitchen. It is meantto supplement lunches brought from home. There are microwaves in thelunchroom and POD areas available for student use. We ask that you respect thefood line-ups, entering from the sides <strong>of</strong> the window, and exiting at the cashregisters. Please stack your chair and ensure all garbage is cleared before youleave.Food allergies are a concern for a number <strong>of</strong> students. You are asked to besensitive to others who may have severe allergies. A peanut free area has beenset up in a Gold Pod break-out room. <strong>Student</strong>s who have severe allergies shouldcomplete the appropriate forms available in the <strong>of</strong>fice and let their teachers knowabout their situation.COMPLEMENTARY SUBJECTSA wide variety <strong>of</strong> complementary subjects are <strong>of</strong>fered for each grade. <strong>Student</strong>shave the opportunity to try all complementary subjects that are available at TomBaines. Consideration is given to student requests. The timetable has beendeveloped around student and parent requests; therefore, students should notexpect changes during the school year.CODE OF CONDUCT: SCHOOL DISCIPLINE (Administrative Regulation6001)As part <strong>of</strong> our philosophy at Tom Baines, we attempt to help students developskills and habits that will assist them to function effectively in society. In order tobecome responsible citizens, students must learn to meet our learningcommunity expectations. We have developed a number <strong>of</strong> guidelines studentsare to follow as required to create a positive learning environment. If concernswith an individual student persist, we will contact the parent and attempt together7


to resolve the problem. Parental support and assistance is a necessity in orderfor us to accomplish our objectives.We want to ensure a climate that makes every student feel comfortable, and lookforward to being at school. We expect POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR, and GOODCITIZENSHIP at school and in the community.Responsibilities <strong>of</strong> <strong>Student</strong>s<strong>Student</strong>s may be held responsible and accountable to the CBE and its agentsfor their behavior and conduct:a) while they are involved in school-sponsored or related activitiesb) on school board propertyc) during any recess or lunch periods on or <strong>of</strong>f school board propertyd) while travelling to and from schoole) on vehicles used for the transportation <strong>of</strong> students to and from schooland school activities; andf) beyond the hours <strong>of</strong> school operation if the behavior or conductdetrimentally affects the welfare <strong>of</strong> individual students or thegovernance, climate, or efficiency <strong>of</strong> the school.<strong>Student</strong>s must respect:a) school authorityb) others and their propertyc) differences in ethnicity, race, religion, gender and sexual orientation; andd) school board property, community property and property <strong>of</strong> otherpersons.<strong>Student</strong>s are accountable for:a) school attendance and punctualityb) their work habits, assignments and homeworkc) textbooks and equipment; andd) complying with the school code <strong>of</strong> conductSchool Discipline Policy 6001 has been updated to include someexamples <strong>of</strong> unacceptable student behavior:a) use, possession <strong>of</strong>, sale, distribution <strong>of</strong> or active contact with a weaponon a student’s person or in a student’s locker or desk, on school boardproperty, or in a vehicle on school board property used by a student oroccupied by a student as a passengerb) threatsc) conduct which endangers othersd) encouraging conduct which endangers or may endanger otherse) encouraging unacceptable conductf) use or display <strong>of</strong> improper, obscene or abusive languageg) distribution or display <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fensive messages or picturesh) theft, including identity theft8


finger tip length. Boys should not wear muscle shirts or tank tops. Avoid torn ordirty clothes. Be sure that any logos or words on T-shirts are in good taste.Clothing that states pr<strong>of</strong>anity or promotes intolerance, sexual behavior, drugs oralcohol is unacceptable. Do not wear chains or other jewelry (long wallet chains,spiked bracelets or neck collars) that could be used as a weapon. Please removehats and earphones upon entering the building. We need your eyes and ears.Outside coats or jackets are to be left in lockers. To promote a safe environment,no gang related behavior, attire, or symbols will be tolerated in the school.<strong>Student</strong>s will be expected to change into their gym strip or other clothing, if theydo not meet these standards. The administration may require any student notconforming to dress standards to return home and change to suitable clothingbefore being admitted to class. Each year, fashions change and new clothingstyles may require review. We appreciate your support in continuing to promotethe positive learning environment for which Tom Baines School is known.DROP-OFF AT SCHOOLWe have many students driven to school, as well as those who come by citybuses. <strong>Student</strong>s must be dropped <strong>of</strong>f on Edgepark Blvd. Please do not park inthe front drive through or teacher parking lot. Please watch for students crossingat nearby intersections and through the parking lot and driveway. Please help usmaintain good relations with our neighborhood, by not parking or blocking accessto nearby residences.We would ask that students be dropped <strong>of</strong>f no earlier than 8:00 am unless theyhave an appointment or planned activity with a teacher.ELECTRONIC DEVICES (CELL PHONES, AUDIO SYSTEMS, LASERPOINTERS)<strong>Student</strong>s are requested not to bring any <strong>of</strong> these items to school. If a studentmust bring a cell phone or other electronic device(s) to school it must remainturned <strong>of</strong>f and be secured in their locker. Usage <strong>of</strong> a cell phone or otherelectronic device must be done outside <strong>of</strong> the school building and onlyprior to the morning bell, lunchtime and after school hours. To protect theprivacy and security <strong>of</strong> students, the taking <strong>of</strong> photographs with a cell phone orother electronic is not allowed on school board property. A student who isfound using and or carrying any <strong>of</strong> these items inside the school during theschool day (this includes all after school activities) will be subjected to thefollowing:1 st time – item will be kept minimum one business day2 nd time – item will be kept minimum <strong>of</strong> two business days3 rd time – item will be kept minimum <strong>of</strong> three business days and will onlybe returned to parent/guardianMore than 3 times – item will be kept possibly till the end <strong>of</strong> the schoolyear.10


The school will not be responsible for lost or damaged property. Laser pointersare viewed as a health hazard and will be confiscated if used on school property.FIRE/EVACUATION AND LOCKDOWN DRILLSSix times during the year we will conduct fire drills. It is important that when wehave (or practice) an emergency, everyone responds quickly and quietly, andwithout question. Classroom teachers will discuss with students the steps t<strong>of</strong>ollow, and evacuation routes. Lockdown drills will be carried out twice a year.Parents and students will be notified prior to the first lockdown practice. Ourevacuation site is the Foothills Alliance Church located two blocks north <strong>of</strong> theschool.LEAVING SCHOOL GROUNDSFor most students, there is no need to leave the school at noon. A wide variety<strong>of</strong> activities and opportunities will be available (intramurals, clubs, extra help,library, computers etc.)<strong>Student</strong>s may leave the school grounds with the knowledge and permission <strong>of</strong>their parents. There are very few places to go in the neighborhood, and theshopping center should only be accessed by those who have a purpose for beingthere. As well, before friends are invited for lunch at nearby homes, both sets <strong>of</strong>parents need to be aware. We also have to be very sensitive to the rights <strong>of</strong> thesurrounding community. We have been requested to treat the ravine andsurrounding properties with respect. <strong>Student</strong>s are accountable for their behaviortowards each other, neighbors, and property on the way to and from school andat noon. Concerns will be resolved by ‘grounding’ at school or loss <strong>of</strong> privileges.11

• Put the books you are returning into the BOOK RETURN slot(straight ahead as you come in the door)…please do not leave themon the desk, a table, or anywhere else in the library, because theywill not get checked inOVERDUES:• Overdue notices are sent out to students every other Wednesday;notices for items long overdue are mailed home 3 times a year• We do not charge overdue fines; but we do charge for thereplacement cost <strong>of</strong> a lost or damaged book. Costs will be deductedfrom caution fees if not paid.COMPUTERS:• <strong>Student</strong>s can reserve learning commons computers for use beforeschool, at lunch and after school.• <strong>Student</strong>s needing a computer for school work have TOP PRIORITYMAGAZINES:• The most current issue (in the plastic cover) stays in the library, butolder issues can be borrowed. Look for these under the display shelf.• You are allow to sign out one magazine at a time (the barcode is onthe back)LOCKS AND LOCKERSEach student is assigned an individual locker. Lockers are schoolproperty, and the school staff reserves the right to open them at anytime. <strong>Student</strong>s are responsible for keeping their locker combinationsconfidential. <strong>Student</strong>s must stay in their assigned locker. It is veryimportant that students mark all <strong>of</strong> their possessions such as books,physical education clothing, shoes, etc. very clearly.This may help considerably in the recovery <strong>of</strong> lost or stolen items. Pleasemake sure the condition <strong>of</strong> the locker and its contents are acceptable toschool standards. You will be issued a lock for your locker that is yours tokeep. Make sure your lock is closed before leaving the locker. Only schoolissued locks are acceptable on lockers or tote boxes. (There is an $8charge for replacing lost locks.)Your Phys. Ed. teacher will assign a small tote locker to store phys. ed.strip. There are day lockers to hold clothes and valuables while you are ingym class. All day lockers and tote boxes are to be locked while in use.Day lockers must be cleared following each class or activity.13


LOST AND FOUNDIf you find something, turn it in to the <strong>of</strong>fice. Valuables need to be returned.(Phys. Ed. also has a lost and found.) If you have lost something, pleasecheck in the POD rooms or <strong>of</strong>fice. Items left in hallways will be collectedand returned to the POD rooms or <strong>of</strong>fice.MARK APPEAL PROCESS<strong>Student</strong>s and/or parents may appeal a teacher’s decision in theevaluation/assessment process. The following process applies to anyappeal regarding a mark during the year.1. The student arranges to speak with the teacher at a time when theissue can be discussed and reviewed without interruption.2. If the student is not satisfied with the discussion, then the parent(s)can arrange an appointment to speak with the teacher. Appointmentsshould be made by telephone and give the teacher reasonable timeto prepare for the meeting.3. If there is no satisfactory resolution, the parent can appeal to theprincipal, by outlining their concerns in writing. The principal willcontact the parent and may arrange for a meeting to discuss theconcern. The principal will review the situation, attempt to seekresolution and if necessary will make a decision regarding thedispute.A student may appeal a year-end, school-based mark by following theseprocedures:1. Mark appeals will be considered only for individual courses. Overallaverages may not be appealed. Mark appeals will only beconsidered for a change <strong>of</strong> 5% or more.2. The student should ensure that accurate information is obtained asto how the teacher’s mark was calculated. Most teachers can providea printout <strong>of</strong> the results <strong>of</strong> each term’s assessment components3. The student, or their parent, must prepare a statement in writing,describing the reason for the appeal. If there is documentation thatindicates a difference from the teacher’s record, this should beattached to the appeal statement.4. Come to the school on mark appeal day (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)and meet with the appropriate teacher.5. Teachers have the authority to make a mark change and will informthe administration <strong>of</strong> any change that is made.14


6. The student should be aware that if during a mark appeal meetinginformation is revealed that indicates the mark should be lowered,the teacher will decide if the change should be made.7. If the student is not satisfied with the outcome <strong>of</strong> their meeting withthe teacher, they may direct their inquiry to the principal or assistantprincipal. Administrators will be available from 8:00 a.m. through12:00 a.m.8. A new report card will be issued if a mark appeal is successful.MOVEMENT IN HALLWAYSMost class changes will involve a minimal distance to move, but with morethan seven hundred students crossing paths, it is important to be patientand courteous. Try to keep to the right hand side <strong>of</strong> hallways, andstaircases. Avoid running or pushing.NEWSLETTERThe school newsletter is posted on the school website at the end <strong>of</strong> eachmonth. We hope you take the time to read about what students are doing atTom Baines School. There will be important dates to make note <strong>of</strong> in thenewsletter, student submissions and notes from your School Council.NOTICESIt is not always possible or appropriate for some school or classroom eventsto be announced in the newsletter and so separate information sheets aresent out regarding items such as field trips, sporting events, fund raisers,etc. Many <strong>of</strong> these need to be signed promptly by a parent or guardian inorder to give permission for a student to participate. Unless the signatureis provided we will assume the parents do not wish their child to participateand an alternative activity will be provided at the school. We cannot takeverbal permission over the telephone because <strong>of</strong> security andinsurance risks.NOON HOURS15


A number <strong>of</strong> teachers will be on supervision. They will be located in thePOD areas and lunchroom area. All hallway areas will be open with thefollowing understandings:- follow the expectations <strong>of</strong> the lunchroom supervisors, andsupervising teachers.- find a place to sit down, and eat, do not wander with food.- clean up after yourself, put garbage and recyclables in the properreceptacles, and wipe up any spills.If you are going outside the expectations to use garbage receptacles stillapply.PERSONAL INFORMATIONThe <strong>Calgary</strong> <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong> is bound by the Freedom <strong>of</strong> Informationand Privacy Act which has two purposes: to provide individuals with greateraccess to information from public organizations, and to protect individualprivacy. In the case <strong>of</strong> the school, we will and always have made availableto parents/guardians information regarding their child’s progress in schooland we do not disclose information to other parties unless a specific requestis made by parent/guardian. There are some routine school-relatedactivities where personal information is collected about students that maybe disclosed. Examples <strong>of</strong> these might be displaying student work inhallways or publishing the honor role in the newsletter.For the security and safety <strong>of</strong> students we will not call students to thetelephone nor will we give out information regarding students on thephone. We will take emergency messages for students.PERSONAL PROPERTY<strong>Student</strong>s are expected to accept personal responsibility for theirpossessions and for any resources they borrow. It is important that librarybooks or other resource material available on loan to students be returnedat the required time so that all students in the school have access to thesematerials. We stress the importance <strong>of</strong> individual responsibility for care <strong>of</strong>possessions. The school will endeavor, as much as possible, to helprecover lost or stolen articles. <strong>Student</strong>s who lose or damage books ormaterials they have borrowed are responsible to pay for such loss ordamage. Any person guilty <strong>of</strong> theft or vandalism <strong>of</strong> school or privateproperty is liable for suspension from school, restitution, and possiblepolice involvement.All students’ personal property and school property in their possession (i.e.:textbooks) should be clearly marked with name, class and year. All students16


are provided with their own hall lockers. We recommend that you do notbring valuables to school unless they are for a specific purpose. If you domake sure they are locked up securely.Please do not bring unnecessary sums <strong>of</strong> money or objects <strong>of</strong> value toschool. Since lockers are the property <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Calgary</strong> <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong>,they can be searched by school <strong>of</strong>ficials if reasonable cause is indicated.PHOTOGRAPHSAll students are required to have pictures taken for administrative purposes.A commercial photographer photographs each student annually for ouryearbook. There is no cost associated with this picture taking activity.However, many students and parents will choose to purchase picturepackages. The cost <strong>of</strong> these packages varies from year to year and mustbe paid for at the time <strong>of</strong> ordering.On occasion, administrators will photograph students for the purpose <strong>of</strong> apermanent record, for example, injuries. These photos are used only foradministrative purposes and access is restricted to administrationPHYSICAL EDUCATION CLOTHINGAll students must change into school approved clothing for phys. ed.classes. This also means that gym strip is a different outfit from clothesworn during the rest <strong>of</strong> the day. Shorts and T-shirts in school colors areavailable for sale from phys. ed. or <strong>of</strong>fice staff. <strong>Student</strong>s should ‘mark’ theirgym strip for easy identification.REPORT CARDS<strong>Student</strong> progress is reported to parents and students formally throughinterim reports, term report cards and interview sessions. Marks will beavailable on D2L. Teachers will also contact parents informally when theneed arises through notes and telephone calls. Following the Novemberand April interim reporting period, student led conferences are scheduled toallow parents the opportunity to discuss their child’s progress with theirteachers. Parents are encouraged, however, to contact the administrative,counseling, or teaching staff at any time regarding the progress <strong>of</strong> theirchild.<strong>Student</strong>s and parents are asked to read the curriculum protocols that arehanded out at the beginning <strong>of</strong> the school year. These will inform you how17


tests, assignments are assessed throughout the year. This information isalso posted on the Tom Baines’ D2L site.SCHOOL ACTIVITY GUIDELINESAt the end <strong>of</strong> the day, you may choose to use the library, be part <strong>of</strong> anactivity, work or visit with a teacher, or be a spectator in the gym. If you arenot involved in these or other supervised functions, you are expectedto leave the school 30 minutes after the dismissal times.Throughout the year we hope to see a variety <strong>of</strong> social activities rangingfrom after school dances to evening performances. Whenever possible,evening events are held on Thursday to take advantage <strong>of</strong> the ‘late’ Fridayentry. All dances will be supervised by teachers and parent volunteers.School dances begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.Expectations for dances at Tom Baines School:1) <strong>Student</strong>s must carry their school ID cards for admittance to aschool dance.2) <strong>Student</strong>s are expected to be in attendance for the duration <strong>of</strong>the function. Permission for late arrival or early dismissalmust in the form <strong>of</strong> a note from parents.3) <strong>Student</strong>s choosing not to attend are asked not to be in oraround the school during the event.4) Only students registered at Tom Baines and in good standingmay attend.5) School expectations for acceptable behavior and dress apply.6) Arrange with parents in advance for pick up after the function.**Note: <strong>Student</strong>s absent during the school day are not expected toattend social functions and sport activities.SCHOOL COUNCIL/FRIENDS OF EDGEMONTTom Baines has an active School Council that supports the school byserving as a link between the school, the home, and the community. Themeetings <strong>of</strong> the School Council are held every third Monday <strong>of</strong> each monthat 7:00 p.m. in the school library. This group serves as a sounding board forparent opinion regarding the school and its programs and becomes activelyinvolved in numerous school initiatives. Parents/guardians are welcome to18


attend these meetings and become involved in the life <strong>of</strong> the school. Consequences for policy violation may range from parent contactand a warning, to suspension from classes. They are visitors in our school and require your help and cooperationin order to create a positive learning environment.TECHNOLOGYComputer Access for students is a priority at Tom Baines School. There isextensive use <strong>of</strong> technology in all academic areas, as well as in the CTSclasses. Outside <strong>of</strong> class time computers may also be accessed in theLibrary, in Lab 11 and the Learning Centre at scheduled times.When accessing resources on the internet or our network, studentsare expected to avoid inappropriate material and advise their teacherif they do. <strong>Student</strong>s are not to post or place on the open Internet anyimages, sound recordings or video that has been created at school.Likewise students are not to place any personal information <strong>of</strong> theirsor any one person on the open Internet at school without permission<strong>of</strong> their teacher. However, students need to planfor the use <strong>of</strong> this technology when they are developing a project orassignment. <strong>Student</strong>s should not consider using the technology unlessthey have planned, organized and trained for the use <strong>of</strong> the technology.Technology should not be used at school as entertainment but used as atool to enhance learning.TELEPHONESTom Baines School has an automated telephone system. This allowsstudents and parents to have access to teachers and school informationlines. We also have a 24-hour absenteeism hotline (777-7190-1). Adirectory <strong>of</strong> staff numbers and email addresses will be provided on theschool webpage. Parents may contact students through the <strong>of</strong>fice in anemergency. Classes are not interrupted to deliver messages.21


Use <strong>of</strong> school phones for students during the day should occur only with ateacher’s permission. Phones are provided as a service, to be used forcommunication, not socializing. Respect the rights <strong>of</strong> those waiting.TEXTBOOKS AND LIBRARY RESOURCES<strong>Student</strong>s are assigned, loaned and may borrow a wide range <strong>of</strong> books orother resources. All are extremely expensive. Take good care <strong>of</strong> them, asyou will be assessed costs for any damage or loss.VENDING MACHINESThese machines are for student and staff use. <strong>Student</strong>s are expected tokeep food and beverages, other than water, out <strong>of</strong> the classroom. <strong>Student</strong>smay buy items from the vending machines before and after school, at lunchhour and during the mid-morning break.VISITORSIn our efforts to keep Tom Baines a safe and secure environment we haveinstituted some safety protocols. Tom Baines is a closed campus. Anyvisitors to the school must report to the main <strong>of</strong>fice and request permissionfrom the school administration to be in the school. <strong>Student</strong>s are asked tohave their friends from other schools meet them <strong>of</strong>f school property.Parents are also asked to check in at the <strong>of</strong>fice before they enter the schoolareas. You are asked to wear a visitor tag so that students and staff areaware that you have followed the safety protocols.YEARBOOKThe yearbook is optional for students; orders must be placed and paid forduring registration in September, as we cannot guarantee there will be extrabooks.HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL STUDENT:We know the key to success in junior high school is to be on time, enjoy thepeople you are with, and be involved in your studies. Success depends onbeing organized, and being able to show teachers your best effort in class,and on assignments and tests.HOMEWORK:Plan a schedule <strong>of</strong> home study, and use this time every day for eithercompletion <strong>of</strong> homework or review. As well as completing day-to-day22


work, set aside time for longer-term projects. Deadlines sneak up, andit’s hard to excel at the last minute.EXTRA HELP:If you are experiencing difficulty understanding a subject, early contactwith the teacher is essential. Many teachers have regularly scheduled“help” times, or are available on request. Use this time to get “one onone” assistance, and quicker solutions to problems. Don’t forget tocheck the D2L homework site or go to the Learning Centre for support.STUDENT SERVICES TEAM:We have a counselor who is available to help students with problemsthat may arise. As well as schoolwork, they can help students solvedifficulties with others, provide support for personal and school relatedissues and provide information on a variety <strong>of</strong> programs that may assistyou in your needs. Your parents will also find this team to be <strong>of</strong>assistance in understanding the “Junior High” experience.HOMEWORK HOTEL:<strong>Student</strong>s are invited to Room 31 for assistance with studying, andhomework at lunchtime and after school Monday through Thursday.Teachers, aides or parents are available as per the schedule posted onthe door.
