Global Initiative for QualityAssurance Capacity BuildingThe World Bank and UNESCOhave established a partnershipto support (GIQAC) which aimsto:support capacity building inquality assurance of highereducation in developingcountries and in countries intransition
Global Initiative for QualityAssurance Capacity BuildingInitial seed funding for thisinitiative comes from the WorldBank’s Development GrantFacility (DGF) Window 2 andfrom UNESCO throughsubstantial in-kind support.
Global Initiative for QualityAssurance Capacity BuildingA formal agreement has beensigned between the World Bankand UNESCO as the overallframework for financing andimplementation.
Global Initiative for QualityAssurance Capacity Building◦ It was agreed that this projectwould aim to establish a globalsupport mechanism for regionalnetworks.
