Title and Jurisdiction:The DANSPORT EMAMC MULTI VENUE STAGE RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP 2013 is organised andadministered by <strong>the</strong> E<strong>as</strong>t Midlands Association of Motor Clubs (EMAMC) in accordance with <strong>the</strong>General <strong>Championship</strong> Prescriptions of <strong>the</strong> Motor Sports Association (MSA) and <strong>the</strong>se<strong>Championship</strong> <strong>Regulations</strong>.MSA <strong>Championship</strong> Permit No: 70/2013Status: National B1.2. Entrants must be in possession of a valid 2013 MSA Entrants Licence.1.3.2. Drivers and Entrant/Drivers must be fully paid up, valid membership card holding members of anEMAMC registered club, be registered for <strong>the</strong> DANSPORT EMAMC MULTI VENUE STAGE RALLYCHAMPIONSHIP 2013 and be in possession of a valid National B, or higher grade, 2013 MSACompetition Licence.1.3.3. Drivers entering an historic event running alongside a modern event will be eligible for<strong>Championship</strong> points provided that event uses <strong>the</strong> exact same route <strong>as</strong> <strong>the</strong> modern event.1.4. Registration:1.4.1. All competitors who wish to take part in <strong>the</strong> DANSPORT EMAMC MULTI VENUE STAGE RALLYCHAMPIONSHIP 2013 must have completed <strong>the</strong> enclosed registration form, and returned it to <strong>the</strong><strong>Championship</strong> Co-ordinator, accompanied by <strong>the</strong> appropriate registration fee.1.4.2. No points may be scored before <strong>the</strong> <strong>Championship</strong> Co-ordinator h<strong>as</strong> received a completedregistration form and fee from a competitor.1.4.3. The cost of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Championship</strong> will be £1.00.18

All Four Wheel Drive Cars on events will, for <strong>the</strong> sake of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Championship</strong> Results, be placed intocl<strong>as</strong>s 5.1.6.3. Turbo cars will be subject to <strong>the</strong> MSA capacity equivalent formula (x1.7)Rotary engine cars will be subject to <strong>the</strong> MSA capacity equivalent formula (x1.7).1.6.4. Vehicles which can only comply with R46.3 are NOT eligible for this championship.19


1.7. Scoring:1.7.1. All contenders will be required to display on each side of <strong>the</strong> competing vehicles <strong>the</strong> decals providedby <strong>the</strong> <strong>Championship</strong> Promoters on all championship events. The decals must be kept in a legiblecondition and failure to do so may result in <strong>the</strong> forfeiture of points.1.7.2. Points will be awarded in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Championship</strong> with reference to cl<strong>as</strong>s position in <strong>the</strong> official results andrelative to <strong>the</strong> contender’s performance in his/her cl<strong>as</strong>s against o<strong>the</strong>r E<strong>as</strong>t Midlands registeredcontenders on <strong>the</strong> event, on <strong>the</strong> following b<strong>as</strong>is:Cl<strong>as</strong>s Position 1 st 2 nd 3 rd 4 th 5 th 6 th 7 th 8 th 9 th 10 th 11 th or lowerPoints 25 22 20 18 16 14 12 10 8 6 4In addition 1 point will be scored for each EMAMC starter beaten in <strong>the</strong> cl<strong>as</strong>s up to a maximum of 3points. Also 2 points will be awarded for starting <strong>the</strong> main event but not being cl<strong>as</strong>sed <strong>as</strong> a finisher.The Overall Champion shall be <strong>the</strong> contender with <strong>the</strong> highest number of points amalgamated fromall cl<strong>as</strong>ses. Points from <strong>the</strong> <strong>Championship</strong> Events will <strong>the</strong>n be placed in <strong>as</strong>cending order to create a<strong>Championship</strong> table.If <strong>the</strong>y wish to change cl<strong>as</strong>s during <strong>the</strong> year <strong>the</strong>y must inform <strong>the</strong> co-ordinator before competing orpoints may not be awarded.1.7.3. Contenders will not be required to sign an EMAMC Signing-on Sheet at <strong>the</strong> start of eachchampionship round, <strong>the</strong> entry list and results will be used to confirm entry and championship pointswill be allocated <strong>as</strong> appropriate.1.7.4. In <strong>the</strong> event of a tie at <strong>the</strong> end of <strong>the</strong> se<strong>as</strong>on, <strong>the</strong> following in order, will be used to determine a clearresult:1. The greatest number of highest point scores2. The greatest number of second highest point scores3. The greatest number of third highest point scores, etc4. Should <strong>the</strong> tie still remain <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> competitor with <strong>the</strong> car of lesser enginecapacity (MSA Capacity equivalent formula to apply) shall be <strong>the</strong> winner.1.7.5. Results will be published in <strong>the</strong> DANSPORT EMAMC MULTI VENUE STAGE RALLYCHAMPIONSHIP 2013 <strong>Championship</strong> Bulletins, which will be posted and dated on <strong>the</strong> EMAMCwebsite. The onus is on <strong>the</strong> competitor to report any errors or omissions within 7 days of <strong>the</strong> datedresults.1.8. Awards:1.8.1. The awards will be presented at <strong>the</strong> EMAMC Awards Presentation to be held early in 2013 and willbe awarded <strong>as</strong> follows:1st Overall Driver – The Competition Car Insurance Trophy and Replica1st Overall Co-driver – The Roadrunner Cup and Replica2nd Overall Driver – An Award2nd Overall Co-driver – An Award3rd Overall Driver – An Award3rd Overall Co-Driver – An Award1st Driver / Co-driver in each Cl<strong>as</strong>s – An Award2nd Driver / Co-driver in each Cl<strong>as</strong>s – An Award (subject to 3 registrations in <strong>the</strong> cl<strong>as</strong>s)3rd Driver / Co-driver in each Cl<strong>as</strong>s – An Award (subject to 5 registrations in <strong>the</strong> cl<strong>as</strong>s)20

No contender may win more than one award o<strong>the</strong>r than <strong>the</strong> Ladies, FWD and aggregate timeAwards.1.8.3. All named trophies remain <strong>the</strong> property of <strong>the</strong> EMAMC. Competitors are responsible for ensuringthat all named trophies are safely returned to <strong>the</strong> Awards Secretary by <strong>the</strong> 30th November 2014 andwill be held responsible for any loss or damage sustained in transit.1.8.4. Competitors must be a cl<strong>as</strong>sified finisher on at le<strong>as</strong>t one round to qualify for awards.2. SPORTING REGULATIONS - Judicial Procedures2.1. Rounds:In accordance with Section C of <strong>the</strong> 2013 MSA Yearbook and <strong>the</strong> DANSPORT EMAMC MULTIVENUE STAGE RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP 2013 <strong>Championship</strong> <strong>Regulations</strong>.2.2. <strong>Championship</strong>:In accordance with Section C of <strong>the</strong> 2013 MSA Yearbook and <strong>the</strong> DANSPORT EMAMC MULTIVENUE STAGE RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP 2013 <strong>Championship</strong> <strong>Regulations</strong>.3. TECHNICAL REGULATIONS3.1. Eligible Vehicles:All vehicles must comply with Section J, R46, R47, R48 and R49 <strong>as</strong> appropriate (2013 MSAYearbook).3.1.1 FUEL – The <strong>Championship</strong> h<strong>as</strong> been granted permission for competitors touse pump fuels complying with FIA, Appendix J, Article 252, Art 9.Competitors ple<strong>as</strong>e note that some championship rounds may not have been grantedpermission.3.2. Safety Requirements:3.2.1. All Vehicles and competitors must comply with <strong>the</strong> prescriptions of Section K of <strong>the</strong> 2013 MSAYearbook relating to:- Safety Roll-Over Structures, Seats, Seat Belts and Headrests, FireExtinguishers, Tank Fillers Vents and Caps, External Circuit Breaker, Head Restraintsapplicable to <strong>the</strong> vehicle category and cl<strong>as</strong>sification.21
