It is an ideal loudspeaker forindoor use in offices, schools, car parking, shoppingcenters and in areas where vandalism is a potentialhazard.FunctionsVoice alarm loudspeakers are specifically designed for usein buildings, where the performance of PA-systems issubject to official regulations. The <strong>LBC</strong> <strong>3018</strong>/<strong>00</strong> isdesigned for voice alarm systems, and is <strong>co</strong>mpliant withBritish Standard BS 5839-8.The loudspeaker has built-in protection to ensure that, inthe event of a fire, damage to the loudspeaker does notresult in failure of the circuit to which it is <strong>co</strong>nnected. Inthis way, system integrity is maintained, ensuringloudspeakers in other areas can still be used to informpeople of the situation. The loudspeaker has a ceramicterminal block, thermal fuse, and heat-resistant, hightemperaturewiring.The cabinets are equipped with a high efficiency, dual<strong>co</strong>neloudspeaker offering a wide frequency range suitablefor both speech and music reproduction.Certifications and ApprovalsAll Bosch loudspeakers are designed to withstandoperating at their rated power for 1<strong>00</strong> hours inac<strong>co</strong>rdance with IEC 268-5 Power Handling Capacity(PHC) standards. Bosch has also developed the SimulatedA<strong>co</strong>ustical Feedback Exposure (SAFE) test to demonstratethat they can withstand two times their rated power forshort durations.
