Marc TeitlerComposerMarc creates soundtracks for Film & TV, produces albumsand writes musicals. He has worked with Dante Ariola,Aardman Animation, Yves Geleyn, Noam Murro, MichaelGeoghegan, David Hare, Timothy Walker and Michael Whiteand his soundtrack credits include numerous shorts, twofeatures and numerous TV and cinema commercials,including acclaimed global campaigns for Johnnie Walker,PlayStation 3, Coca-Cola and Orange.His latest musical ‘Stuck On a Sunday’ has been developed at the Royal Opera Houseunder the OperaGenesis programme for the stage. Work has also just begun on ananimated version in collaboration with BAFTA-winning animator/director MarcCraste (‘Varmints’, ‘JoJo in the Stars’). The soundtrack album was completed earlierthis year.Marc has recently been invited by the National Theatre Studio to spend a month theredeveloping a new musical work and is currently developing a dance piece withcomposer Bernd Würtz based on their album ’The Island of Furverts’.Other works include the opera 'Last Rites' and a musical, 'Burn Me Dead', inspired bythe Russian novel 'The Master & Margarita' and co-written with Tim Phillips.Marc is in the final stages of recording an experimental pop album with Japanesesinger Ayu Okakita and will record a folk/country album with producer Peter Challisand singer/songwriter Lucy Johnson later this month.Marc was a finalist in the 2005 Berlin International Film Festival’s VW ScoreCompetition with his soundtrack for Thomas Struck's animation "Hearts", recordedwith The Berlin Film Orchestra.Feature Films:Room 7The SensesThe ChurchSolitaireShort Films:Dir.
