Pri fotografovaníjeho stavieb zisťuje, že nielen čas, ale najmä dnešní užívatelia ichnešetria, často ich prerábajú a potvoria, čím nemilosrdne uberajúz ich pôvodnej krásy. Trochu prehnane a trochu pateticky povedané– hlavný hrdina sa stretáva s ľudskou krásou, vchádza donového vzťahu s priateľkou Tamarou, čo mu akosi mimochodomdáva silu, aby sa pokúsil aspoň o malú nápravu tohto stavu.Pajo Piles, a scholar in architecture, participates in the writingof a book about 20 th century Slovak architecture, concentratingmainly on the work of one of its founders, Emil Belluš. Whentaking photos of his buildings Piles realises that not only thetime but especially the present users do not spare them. Theyvery often change and rebuild these buildings, with no mercy destroyingtheir original beauty.
