Christmas and New Year Residential Packages (“Packages”): If youcancel before 27 November 2009, any pre-payment will be fullyrefundable. If you cancel on or after such date, and we are unable toresell the accommodation, the following cancellation fees will apply:(i) for cancellation before 11 December 2009, 50% of the Package costwill be retained, and(ii) for cancellation on or 11 December 2009, the total cost of thePackage will be retained.3. Parties and Events: Bookings not paid in full by 14 days prior to theevent or by 27 November 2009, whichever is the earlier, will bedeemed to have been cancelled and any monies paid will be retainedby the hotel.4. No refunds of monies paid will be made for cancellation or decreasesin the number of guests attending, unless the hotel is able to resellthe space.5. Monies paid for non-arrivals are forfeited and cannot be transferred tocover food, drinks, entertainment or overnight accommodation forother members of the party.6. All events and timings are subject to approval by the local licensingauthorities. All statutory licensing regulations apply.7. The information in this brochure is correct at the time of printing.The hotel reserves the right to amend its Packages, Parties and Eventsand prices at any time before booking. Bookings are subject toavailability and prices quoted at the time of booking.8. Except in respect of changes to the rate of VAT, prices will not changeonce a booking has been confirmed. The hotel reserves the right to alteror amend the contents of aParty, Event or Package or to cancel an eventor package for any reason, for example if there is a shortfall in theminimum numbers required to operate a programme. In suchcircumstances you may choose at your sole discretion an alternativedate and/or venue, subject to availability. Or request a full refund of themoney paid to the hotel.9. All prices for Christmas and New Year Residential Packages are in£’s per person per night based on two people sharing a twin ordouble-bedded room. There are nosupplements for single-beddedrooms. When no single rooms are available, individual guests canusually book a twin or doublebedded room at a supplementary charge.Prices on application.10.Residential Stay over Rates are only available when booked forstays as extensions to bookings for the Christmas or New Yearprogrammes featured.11.On Residential Packages, up to 2 children aged 15 years and under areaccommodated free in shared accommodation with one or two adultson the basis of one child per adult, subject to availability of a suitableroom. Meals for under 6 years are provided free of charge. Children,aged 6-15 years inclusive, are charged £40.00 per child per night onthe same meal plan as the accompanying adult/s. Children aged 15years and under in separate rooms or children in excess of one child peradult are charged 50% of the adult rate.12.Some programmes may not be suitable for children. Bookings will beaccepted at the discretion of the General Manager, whose decisionis final. Please contact the hotel for prices and availability.13. All additional charges incurred during the event must be settled priorto departure.14.Menus shown in this brochure and/or in other collateral relating tothese events and packages are only to provide an indication of thedishes likely to be featured. Dependent on market and productavailability, the hotel reserves the right to amend such dishes and/or tooffer suitable alternatives which will be advised in good time prior tothe stated Event or Package.15.Some of our dishes may contain ingredients which could cause anallergic reaction. Guests subject to allergies are advised to checkbeforehand so that alternative ingredients or dishes can be provided.16.All prices are inclusive of VAT at 15%. If the general rate of VATis altered, our prices will be modified accordingly. Gratuities are at theguest’s discretion.17. Guests are recommended to have and be responsible for insurance tocover cancellation, curtailment and loss of baggage, personal effectsand money when taking an Event or Package featured in this brochure.Please contact your insurance company or brochure for furtherinformation.18.In the interest of safety of guests, food and drinks are strictly prohibitedfrom the dance area. In the event of any spillage of food or drinks onthe dance floor, guests are to inform any member of the hotelstaff immediately.19.Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, ourliability to you and your guests taken in the aggregate, is limited to theprice of your booking.20.The hotel will not be liable to you for failure to perform to the extentthat the failure is caused by any factor beyond its reasonable control.21.Please address any comments to the hotel’s General Manager duringyour visit or in writing within 7 days of the event.22.These terms are deemed to incorporate the <strong>Corus</strong> hotel’s General Termsof Business, copies of which are available on request and which can alsobe viewed on the <strong>Corus</strong> hotel’s website: www.corushotels.com. In theevent of any inconsistency, the terms of this agreement shall prevail.
