Libraries don’t provide a lot of English literature, but you can find some books,<br />
journals and magazines in English, if you are interested.<br />

Each faculty has its own computer centre. Besides that you can use<br />
two computer rooms in the BUT Centre, Antonínská 1 (part of the<br />

Brno University of Technology has own sports facilities and<br />
sport centres, which offers wide range of sports for<br />
students. For BUT students are mainly all of the classes<br />
free of charge or with a small contribution.<br />
Example of sports at CESA: aerobic, badminton, basketball, bowling, indoor cycling,<br />
football, mountain bikes, swimming, horse riding, skiing, squash, tennis, and much<br />
more…<br />
City Sports Facilities<br />
Besides that Brno offers a wide range of sporting and recreational opportunities.<br />
The city of Brno also provides dozens of sporting facilities, including three indoor<br />
swimming pools, four open-air swimming pools and two winter stadiums. The<br />
enormous Boby Centre, the largest of these facilities, boasts squash courts,<br />
a bowling alley, and some of the best workout facilities in the Czech Republic, not to<br />
mention the country’s largest discotheque. Information about specific sporting and<br />

Czech Language Courses<br />
Every international student coming to BUT has an opportunity to<br />
take part in an intensive Czech language course (5 days), which is<br />
prepared as a part of the invitation week.<br />
For those who might be interested in further study there are several possibilities.<br />
On the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and<br />
Communication and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering their language institutes<br />
provide one semestral courses of Czech, always according to interest of foreign<br />
