He began his career at JPMorgan, where he spent eight years in various positions in its ABS and SecuritizationGroups. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Schiff was a Director at Wachovia Securities, wherehe was responsible for developing various structured principal finance opportunities.Following Wachovia, he was a Managing Director at Amaranth Advisors, where he wasresponsible for the construction of a non-mortgage Asset-Based Securities Portfolio.In 2007, Mr. Schiff became Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer atBroadworth Capital for two high net worth families. He joined Perella WeinbergPartners as a Partner and Portfolio Manager of the Asset Based Value strategy in 2008.The Asset Based Value strategy focuses on capturing attractive opportunities bytargeting specific asset classes and investing in performing assets that are believed tobe at favorable valuations. These targeted assets generally have a margin of safety dueto contractual rights to cash flow and/or hard asset coverage.
