AbstractMulti-Modal Training Content Production <strong>for</strong> SAP EducationAt the last two DITA conferences we reported on an implementation project targeting to migratethe SAP training content production from a proprietary data model to the DITA 1.2 framework.This project has now been finalized and the authoring plat<strong>for</strong>m has been used to produce 120titles in up to 9 languages ready to be delivered as e-learning, virtual live classroom ortraditional classroom training.In this presentation we will share our experiences collected at this first wave of productive usageof the new approach. We will discuss the challenges we faced and the strategies we used toovercome the difficulties at this exciting journey.In addition we will show the next steps planned to leverage the benefits we gained from movingto an industrialized content production process based on DITA.© 2012 SAP AG.
