A retractable seat belt is standard.DIFFERENTIAL LOCKWhen wheel slippage occurs, the rear differential lock pedal canbe engaged easily. It immediately activates both rear wheels.4WD models of M6800/8200/9000 also include a similarly easyto-reachfront differential lock pedal, which can be operatedindependently from the rear differential lock. The result is areduction in slippage.E-TVCS ENGINEThe M-Series from Kubota features the E-TVCS engine, asophisticated indirect injection, liquid-cooled diesel engine whichmeets EPA regulations concerning emissions. Our multi-valvesystem on M6800/8200/9000 provides for more efficient air intake,which leads to greater power, higher torque rise, fastercombustion, cleaner emissions, and lower noise.Multi-valveE-TVCS system onM6800/8200/9000HIGH TORQUE RISEThe governor and fuel injection pumps are integrated into a single,compact unit to produce an astounding 28% torque rise (26% onM4900/5700). Response to sudden load fluctuations is quick,reducing engine rpm drop. This means these tractors will performsmoothly under virtually any load condition with less need fordownshifting and greater fuel efficiency.

FEATURESONE-PIECE FULL-OPEN HOODMaintenance is easily performed, thanks to the new high-access, onetouchopening hood; servicing points such as the battery, air cleaner,radiator screen, and fan belt are within easy reach. The hood,fenders, and fuel tank are made of formed steel for longevity, quickrepair, and a sturdy, dignified look.DUAL-ELEMENT AIR CLEANERThe highly efficient air-cleaning system consists of two dry-typeelements: a primary and a secondary that combine to ensureengine longevity. The system allows risk-free primary filterreplacement even in dusty conditions.FOLDABLE ROPSA foldable Roll-Over Protective Structure with retractableseatbelt is standard. It may be temporarily folded downwithout tools, so that the tractor may pass under areas withheight constraints. (There is no operator protection providedby the ROPS in the folded position. For operator safety, theROPS should be placed in the upright and locked positionand the seat belt fastened for all other operations.)LARGE CAPACITY HYDRAULIC PUMPSThe Kubota M9000 (M8200 optional) boasts anexceptionally large hydraulic pump capacity of 17 gpm(64.3 l/min). The M4900/5700/6800 and M8200 areequally as impressive at 11 gpm (41.6 l/min). As aresult, the front loader cycle times are short, increasingproductivity and facilitating operation.AUXILIARY REMOTE HYDRAULIC VALVESThe M-Series have a double-acting remote hydraulicvalve with detents and self-canceling feature asstandard equipment. Additional self-canceling or floattype valves are optional. Thanks to the optional flowcontrol valve (on specific models), the 3-point hitchand a remote valve may be operated simultaneously.Simultaneous operation can be made between tworemote valves, as well. (Valves are optional on theM4900SUD.)

FEATURESLIVE INDEPENDENT, HYDRAULIC PTOThe M-Series offers smooth operation with a live, independent, 540-rpm PTO with a hydraulically actuated, wet-type PTO clutch. Selfmodulatingengagement with a light touch means implementsengage smoothly. The independent-type PTO clutch can be engagedor disengaged without depressing the clutch pedal, regardless ofwhether the tractor is stationary or moving. The clutch lever islocated on the right-hand side to provide easy visibility toimplements during operation.3-POINT HITCHThe Category I & II (M4900/5700/6800) andCategory II (M8200/9000) 3-point hitchprovides fast attachment of implements. Thelift rod and stabilizers allow easy implementhook-up. The telescopic lower link ends furtherfacilitate attachment (optional on theM4900SUD). Lift capacity is as much as 3310lbs. (1500kg) on M4900/5700/6800 and 4630lbs.
