Ted & Co
- The Dinner Show
Smash hit comedy treat Ted & Co
comes direct from its hugely successful
sell-out run at the 2011 Edinburgh
Festival Fringe, promising once again
to wow audiences with high-energy
improvisation, audience participation
and perfect comic timing. A tribute
to the cult TV classic Father Ted, the
unique and interactive comedy dining
experience ‘Ted & Co – The Dinner
Show’ debuted at last year’s Edinburgh
Fringe Festival selling out every
show and picking up five star reviews
and standing ovations.Performed
to perfection, the highly acclaimed
cast combine satire and surrealism
with a good helping of old fashioned
comedy to bring the tribute show
to life. This highly interactive 2 hour
show, with a 3 course meal included,
promises a hilarious and fun evening,
with the audience as the diners and
Ted, Dougal, Jack & Mrs Doyle as the
hosts. Not to be missed! (Ahh, Go
on, Go on, Go on, Go on!). The most
enjoyable dining experience you will
ever have! So, it’s no surprise that the
sell-out shows at last year’s Edinburgh
Fringe earned high praise: “Best show
I’ve seen in years”, ”Hilarious from beginning
to end”, ”Excellent show, lots of
laughs”, ”Acting was great” were just
some of the audience reviews. Anyone
wanting to buy a ticket for Ted
GIRLS
Director: Anne Mekitarian
Ordinary women (of a certain age!)
opt to bare all, and pose nude for a
calendar to raise funds in memory
of a husband who dies of leukaemia.
A heady mix of comedy and pathos,
this challenging play is guaranteed
to make you laugh and maybe shed
a tear.
Come along and see Moat Club
regulars emulating the daring
women who puzzled their husbands,
mortified their children and
sparked a global phenomenon by
stripping off. Described as ‘a show
whose feel-good factor is sky-high’
(The Guardian), we guarantee that
this is nudity that’ll make you smile
instead of smirk, while we grin and
bare (sic) it!
Adapted by Simon Moore from the
novel by Stephen King, Cast: Denise
Quinn as Annie Wilkes, Joe Meagher
as Paul Sheldon, Written by: Stephen
King, Directed by: John Grubb
Novelist Paul Sheldon has plans to
make the difficult transition from
writing historical romances featuring
heroine Misery Chastain to publishing
literary fiction, however he gets
more than his imagination could
ever conjure when he crosses paths
with his biggest fan Annie Wilkes after
a car wreck leaves him in her care.
The former nurse takes care of him
in her remote house, but becomes
irate when she discovers that the author
has killed Misery off in his latest
book. Annie keeps Sheldon prisoner
while forcing him to write a book
that brings Misery back to life. Joe
Meagher and Denise Quinn star in
