Enns had spent a 25-yearcareer as a newspaper editor andreporter and Osteen is the president ofEast Coast Lumber & Supply, the oldestcontinuously operating business on theTreasure Coast.Their goal in publishing <strong>Indian</strong> <strong>River</strong>is to give readers a closer connectionto their community by highlightingthe history and unique environmentalqualities of the region. Named forthe <strong>Indian</strong> <strong>River</strong>, the waterway thatcourses through the Treasure Coast,the magazine is distributed throughoutMartin, St. Lucie and <strong>Indian</strong> <strong>River</strong>counties. The magazine’s writers andphotographers live in the communitiesthey cover and are among the leadingjournalists in the region.The January issue, printed on 100percent recycled paper, is our annualgreen edition and focuses on the environment,conservation and agriculture.The Home Edition, published inMarch, focuses on home interiors.This issue also has a special Trends inEducation section.The November/December edition isthe annual “season’’ issue that providespreviews of the season ahead in art,music and theater.
