ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF HISTORY....1906. Ugo Galletti settle down the first production facility.In the beginningthe production was mainly devoted to the manufacture of ice mould andlight carpentry.1950.The production and technical evolution leads the company to becomea supplier of important car and motor-bike manufacturers such as: Ferrari,Ducati ,Lamborghini, Morini.1960. Galletti faces a big historical change: from manufacturing ofcomponents as a sub-supplier for other companies to own production offinished goods branded Galletti destined for end users. Galletti starts themanufacturing of heating units such as convector with copper/aluminiumcoils, and fan heaters for industrial application.1975. Galletti starts the manufacturing of fan coil units; this is the firstapproach to the air conditioning field.1986. Begin of a 15 years cooperation with a Japanese leading company inair conditionig. Galletti becomes the reference point of split systems in theItalian market.1994. Galletti is one of the first companies in Europe to get the Euroventcertification.1995. Galletti establish a new factory focused on the production of finnedpack heat exchangers.First production of air condensed water chillers withcooling capacity from 6 to 180 kW.1996. New production line of fan coils with a capacity of 700 units a day.2001. Galletti founds a new company to approach the market of hightechnology air conditioning applications:HiRef.The represents anothermilestone towards the Galletti air conditioning globalisation.2003. Extension of the Bentivoglio factory area with a new 7.000 m 2 building,including a new logistic centre and training facilities.2006. A century of history for an enterprise that can today boast 3manufacturing plants occupying a total area of over 45,000 m 2 , more than250 employees, 1,700,000 fan coils sold, over 250,000 split air conditionersinstalled, 10 years of Eurovent certification and a consolidated distributionin the whole Europe.“FROM THE PRESIDENT”One hundred years of history represent an important achievement in the lifeof a company, surely not one to be taken for guaranteed: an achievementthat also induces us to reflect on how its identity has changed over time inresponse to market needs, with the advent of new technologies andgenerational transitions.Starting off from this thought we have attempted to trace and captureGalletti's history, to understand whether and to what degree the companyhas remained loyal to its origins, to that “policy of small steps” introducedby Ugo Galletti and passed down, like an heirloom, through the DNA ofthree generations: a business philosophy that asserts a strong, well-definedphilosophy with reasoned, solid, concrete steps.We have confronted this history and have played our own, albeit small, part,year after year, through changes, the devastations of war, the desire to startanew and rebuild, economic booms and technological revolutions. Nearlya century in which we have not sat down to rest but rather to observe,explore new opportunities, define possibilities for dialogue and trace newpaths. S80 fan heaters for ceiling installationS 80 Ceiling-mounted fan heatersS 80 fan heaters are designed to be ceiling mounted and deliver a verticalair flow. The series comprises 16 models that utilise hot or superheatedwater. 9 models can also work with steam.S 80 fan heaters are characterised by high air flow rates and installationheights which, together with their low-noise operation, make them ideal formedium-sized and large interiors such as warehouses, factories,showrooms, etc..On request S80 fan heaters can be supplied complete with a drip tray.Thanks to this engineering solution, the heat exchanger can also besupplied with chilled water, an effective and economical method forcooling interiors in summertime.The minimum temperature of incoming water is 8 °C:Do not use the fan heaters for cooling at the speed of 1400 rpm (4 poles).The installation height should always be determined according to heatingrequirements.If possible, use anemostat or truncated cone diffusers for a betterdistribution of air.Constructive featuresHeat exchanger: made up of copper tubing and aluminium fins, steelplumbing connections. Thanks to the heat exchanger circuits (all circuitsare parallel), 9 models of the S80 series can also utilise steam at lowpressure (maximum 6 bars).
