10:00 hrs - Arrival at the Abbey of Stavelot.
10:30 hrs - Visit museum of the circuit of Spa-
Francorchamps.
11:30 hrs - Leave for the circuit.
12:00 hrs - TOUR OF THE CIRCUIT OF SPA-FRAN-
CORCHAMPS BY COACH AND/OR VISIT TO THE
PADDOCKS.*
12:30 hrs - Lunch (1 course - drinks not included).
14:00 hrs - Visit concludes.

The classics
Basics:
Welcome coffee, visit to all 3 museums with
audio-guide + meal.

Open: Daily from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs.
Reservation: Recommended 15 days prior to date of
visit (at least one week minimum).

Access: from Brussels, the E40 motorway direction
Liège, then the E42 direction Verviers-Prüm, exit 10
(Francorchamps) or 11 (Malmédy). Now follow the
signs to Stavelot.
In the heart of a preserved nature, on the banks of the river Amblève, the City
of the “Blancs Moussis’ (“White Bubblies’), capital of Laetare, will enchant you
with its picturesque alleyways and its splendid abbey. Impressive buildings dating
from the 16th and 18th centuries house three exciting modern museums:
• Historical Museum of the Principality of Stavelot-Malmedy
• Museum of the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps
• Guillaume Apollinaire Museum
On the trail of the “Blancs Moussis”
and Guillaume Apollinaire:
Welcome coffee, guided tour of the museums +
guided tour of the town + meal + beer-tasting.

Mystery at the Abbey:
archaeo-mediaeval quest (new!!!)
A tomb has just been found in the abbey - whose
tomb could this be? ! Budding experts set off on
an investigation to uncover the identity of a
most unusual abbot: Wibald de Stavelot.
They discover occupations which reveal past
history, and plunge them into the very heart of
the Middle Ages in the Principality of Stavelot -
Malmedy. This activity is designed to inspire in
young people an understanding and respect for
heritage, and the desire to preserve it for future
generations.
• Duration: 2 hrs • Age: 8-14.
• Price: € 4/per pupil
From Luxemburg: go to the E25 motorway exit 48 or
49, and then follow the signs to Stavelot.
Parking: free of charge.
The young rascals and the treasure of
Saint Remacle:
As soon as they arrive, the young visitors are
plunged into the mysterious atmosphere by the
presence of the last of the Abbey’s friars. They
set off at once on their quest in search of the
lost treasure.
A genuine treasure - chocolate coins - will reward
their endeavours.
