We couldn't make it more mobile if we tried: M 200 

Wireless is an accubox with integrated CD/MP3 player 

with USB recorder and stereo cassette drive, in addition 

to a radio receiver. The heart of the mobility is a 12V 

battery. After charging, the device can be used far 

from any socket, producing high-quality sound for 6 to 

20 hours. 

The length depends on the situation in which the device 

is being used and the volume. 

The battery is equipped with a charge control display 

(LED display) and an electronic charger to guarantee 

optimal charging whilst protecting against total discharge.

Glossary 

1 and 2-way system: 

A 1-way system includes for example wideband loudspeaker systems which are always fed with the whole frequency 

range of the amplifier. Wideband loudspeakers cannot be as heavily loaded as multi-way systems as the individual 

loudspeaker reaches distortion level more quickly due to the high transmission level. With 2-way systems the whole 

frequency range is distributed across two levels and led to a low and high tone loudspeaker. Each loudspeaker works 

at an optimal level in its own range without any interference. . 

Acoustic feedback: 

Acoustic feedback means that the sound oscillations of the speaker return to the microphone via the shortest route. 

This is repeated in fractions of a second. The sound oscillations are amplified each time so that a very loud whistling 

sound is created. 

Active box: 

A loudspeaker box with integrated amplifier. The most frequent variation is a power amplifier for each individual 

transformer and pre-programmed active frequency converter. Active boxes are the most common loudspeaker systems 

in studio technology as the standardised studio signal allows a simple and interference-free installation and cabling............ 

Bluetooth method: 

This is the digital radio transmission in the licence-free 2.4 GHz frequency range. 

Connection plugs: 

Jack Plug (Diag 1) 

Jack plugs is a plug which has different poles lined up on one pin. This is also 

known as coaxial. Jack plugs are very often used in headphone connections 

and microphones. 

Phono Plug (Diag 2) 

Phono sockets and plugs (also called RCA plugs) are most commonly used in 

entertainment electronics. They have more or less replaced the old DIN plugs. 

These are 2pin plugs for sound and video connections where, in contrast to 

the multi pin DIN plugs, each pole is shielded individually. One advantage to 

the DIN plugs is that these plugs have a variety of connection possibilities.

Frequency/Frequency level (Hertz): 

Amount of oscillation per time unit. Given in units of Hertz (Hz, kHz, MHz, GHz).

Impedance (Ohm): 

The impedance of an electrical assembly such as amplifiers, cables, in other words an electric resistance. A loudspeaker 

system for example, would put up resistance against the amplifier which creates the source signal. Impedance implies 

an apparent resistance which only occurs when there is AC, for example in the music signal. The impedance in a 

loudspeaker box should not fall below two Ohm. If this happens sensitive damage can be caused to the amplifier................... 

Infrared transmission: 

The transmission of signals via light waves (infrared). Infrared denotes an area of waves which is not visible to the 

naked eye. The wavelengths of infrared waves lie outside the human eye receptor curve. Transmission only occurs 

if transmitter and receiver are in visible contact.

Passiv box: 

This is a loudspeaker system which is controlled via a full amplifier which is not integrated in a loudspeaker system.. 

Power consumption (Watt): 

Power consumption is the entire energy requirement of an electrical device. Power consumption is given in watts. 

Radio transmission: 

Transmission of a signal via radio waves. The term radio transmission denotes the transmission of information sent 

out from electromagnetic fields or waves. 

Rated distortion factor: 

The rated distortion factor is a measurement for distortion which is caused in a transmission device and is given 

in percentage. 1% distortion factor is just audibly recognisable. 

Signal-to-noise ratio: 

Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is the relationship between the highest power signal and the maximally audible interference 

noise and is given in dB. The interference noises are a combination of humming and noise. 

Sound frequency: 

Sound frequency indicates how many times a second the air is compressed or expanded. The human ear can detect 

sound oscillations of between 16 Hz and 16 kHz as sounds. 

Sound/Sound level (decibels): 

Sound implies the mechanical oscillations of a material. A material could be air, water or a solid body. Sound is 

carried to the human ear by the medium of air. Sound is measured in decibels. 

Transmission range: 

The transmission range of an amplifier is the frequency bandwidth in which the amplifier transmits without any 

significant linear distortion. The transmission range is characterised by the upper and lower border frequencies. 

Wmpo (Watt Music Power Output): 

Wmpo, otherwise known as music power, is the maximum output which the amplifier can produce and where the 

distortion level is not exceeded. So, Wmpo is the highest power output of an amplifier which can be produced with 

impulse loading. 

Wrms (Watt Root Mean Square): 

Watt root mean square power, also called rated power, is the output power which an amplifier produces at 1000 

Hz and with modulation, as far as the distortion factor. This power must be maintained for at least 10 minutes.
