Tour the County Airport, talk with the pilots about their planes and enjoy free airplanerides in the afternoon for ages 8-17 provided by the Young Eagles program. Aircraft, from restoredantiques to modern jets, will be on display, and additional car parking will be available.You don’t want to miss these amazing flying displays:_ The Bealton Flying Circus featuring their spectacular wing-walking event_ The return of the incredible SHAR, the only civilian-owned Harrier in the world, flown by Art Nalls_ The Culpeper Barnstormers and their RC model airplanes including the ever popular-flying lawnmower (you’ve got to see it to believe it!)_ Kevin Russo and his magnificent T6_ Dr. Smoke and his red/white and blue smoke_ Our own Culpeper-based Charlie Schwenker and his super fast Xtra 300Want to experience flight yourself? Then hop a ride for a fee in a vintage, open-air Waco biplane, pilotedby our own John Corradi.Walk the lines of parked spectacular Warbirds, including the Percival Provost, a Royal Air Force Trainerwhich you could win a ride in if chosen when you are entered in the raffle by purchasing this program.Also, let us not forget the beautiful Birds owned and operated by our based tenant the National CapitolSquadron.The Culpeper County Parks & Recreation Department will have lots of neat demonstrations and arts andcrafts for the smaller aviators, and you’ll want to have your photo taken in an F-4 cockpit from Jet PilotPhotos.Our vendors will have lots of food available, so you won’t go hungry.
