NCM-20 Capacitance Meter for Cap Bank - Gentec

Capacitance-MeterFor Capacitor BankModel NCM-20General Information :Capacitance Meter NCM-20 is speciallydesigned for capacitance measurements ofrack-mounted capacitor units without theneed of disconnecting any wiring betweenthe units. Comparing the measuredcapacitances the units with blown fusescan be easily located in the bank.NCM-20 is battery operated and portablecomprising separate display and generatorunits and is well suited for field use. Themeasured capacitance is displayed by a 3½-digit LCD display module on the displayunit. The generator unit includes a build-incalibration capacitor.

For the capacitance measurementNCM-20 has two voltage clips by which thecurrent is supplied into the capacitor bank. Thevoltage output is short-circuit proof.The current in each capacitors units ismeasured with a current clamo. Thecapacitance of the unit is shown on the digitaldisplay in microfarads.
