Over 115 years since the company’s founding have made HANNO
a reliable partner for you, our customer. This product booklet

After many years as a felt producer, the company started producing
new polyurethane soft foams as early as in 1950. The successful
development of impregnated joint sealing tapes began during
the 1960s. As compressed tapes, Hannoband ® has been a
household word in the sealing products sector for decades. Selfadhesive
artificial soft foams found many different applications
and have strengthened our reputation as a specialist in sealing
and damping.
Activities within Europe were expanded with the formation of
HANNO Austria and, later, of HANNO Switzerland. HANNO Russia
and, most recently, HANNO VITO USA were set up as international
branches; in addition, we partner with many distributors and
customers throughout the world. Even greater attention will be
attached to our international focus in future.
The Hanno ® brand unites the name of the firm and the products
in industrial noise insulation and construction joint sealing. In
addition to this, cooperation with other brands has become firmly
established.
A most agile and highly developed application technology, inhouse
research and development and benchmarking of our
products and performance levels provide the base frame for our
innovations and product variations and assist all sales activities.
Major novelties are protected by national and international property
rights. All HANNO employees are extremely committed to their

Noise protection for more
quality of life
Constant noise of 55 dB(A) and more (normal tone of voice level)
is perceived as annoying. Noise levels of 65-75 dB(A) (vacuum
cleaner) already causes stress and implies an increased risk of
cardiovascular disease.
Time spent in a pleasantly subdued noise environment has a
high recreational effect.
Devices and equipment of everyday use should emit little noise
and work unnoticedly.

Hanno ® -EL foam
Protects delicate electronic products during transport.
This soft, flexible foam absorbs impacts and avoids mechanical
damage. The foam is completely impregnated, completely electrically
conductive and prevents static discharge. The material is permanently
conductive with constant surface resistance for many years.
Hanno ® -Tect-o-phob
The hydrophobic/oleophobic version of the tried and tested
Hanno ® -Tect melamine foam resin.
Impregnated completely, the foam is immune to moisture. All
other properties such as low weight, flame resistance, temperature
resistance, etc. are not compromised.

Hanno ® Clima-Tect ®
Energy-saving foam for the closing of
cable openings in the false floors of
data centres
The amount of air loss can be reduced by 99.9% if the line or cable
openings in false floors are closed off using Hanno ® Clima-Tect ® ,
instead of leaving them open.
False floors in data centres are normally used for the cabling of
network cabinets. The problem here is that a larger part of the cold
air which is required for the cooling of the server escapes through
the cable openings, reducing the static pressure in the false floor.
The closing off of these opening can save up to 10% of the total
energy which is required for cooling purposes.
With the new Clima-Tect ® , HANNO is able to provide the ideal
solution to this problem. Fast, efficient, inexpensive and easy to
subsequently install during ongoing operations, the panels normally
pay for themselves after around one month. They do not increase
the fire load in data centres as is the case with brush systems or
cable bags!
