The specific appearance of Sport-Esteem expresses the material’s
sporty image in any light. No matter whether in the glaring
glacier sunshine or at sunset on the Cote d’Azur. And to make
sure it stays this way, a team of developers at Benecke-Kaliko
have been focusing on the product’s endurance characteristics.
The consistently positive test results in terms of light and color
fastness and cleanability are clear signs of uncompromising
quality.

Holds out superbly …
Sport-Esteem was developed to achieve a blend between a
unique surface and all the tough material characteristics required
for a vehicle’s sporty interior. By uniting a new formula, unique
manufacturing processes and the innovative topcoat combination,
the material meets the rigorous requirements typical of the
automotive industry.
Following mechanical permanent stress, ageing and creep tests,
for instance, Sport-Esteem satisfies the standard specification
requirements. What’s more, it triumphs when bench-marked.

… yet so smooth.
Sport-Esteem excels through its specific surface feel, noticeable
on the first touch. In tests with end customers, the characteristics
most commonly associated with Sport-Esteem are “smooth”
and “sporty”. The material has a unique performance and makes
sure that its intended sporty image is perceived by the end
customer too.

Exclusive appearance …
With its impression of opulence, Sport-Esteem makes the ideal
companion on the racetrack or for outdoor activities. On the golf
course, in the tennis or yacht club too, it discretely emphasizes
the vehicle’s sporty note.
When it comes to material quality, the survey results pay impressive
testimony to this claim: the key to a performance that
outranks genuine nappa leather, for example, is the innovative
look coupled with a specific surface feel.

… extremely easy to clean.
Despite its special surface structure, Sport-Esteem is surprisingly
easy to clean – this is where the innovative finish system comes
into its own: the tough, closed surface makes it virtually impossible
for dirt to get a hold.
This also makes cleaning easier. The new material also meets
established specifications in terms of cleanability. This was tested
using all standard cleaning agents and a damp cotton cloth.

Extremely resilient …
The convincing characteristics of the innovative material are
chiefly down to the closed surface. Besides the brand new formula,
this is what sets Sport-Esteem apart from all comparable materials
on the market. The sophisticated finish system is the key to the
positive performance characteristics. Expansive in-house tests
were accompanied by external endurance tests. Sport-Esteem
scored highly in the abrasion and light fastness tests.

… whether hot or cold.
The material’s sporty character is sustained equally well in the
soaring temperatures typical of a desert rally as in the frosty,
minus degrees prevailing in north Scandinavia. The development
goal of Sport-Esteem was to create a material that meets every
requirement of sporty vehicles.
Sport-Esteem passed the standard tests specified for the automotive
industry – low temperature resistance at -30° C and
mechanical tests after hot storage at 90° C – with flying colors.

Gentle on nature …
The ecological characteristics of the new development are more
important than ever. Sport-Esteem satisfies the Öko-Tex-Standard
100 established for the automotive industry. This in turn promises
very low emissions and a barely perceptible odor.
This means the ambitious driver can feel at ease in the cockpit,
with no health fears.

… in every color of this world.
Sport-Esteem’s surface feel and appearance won’t change, even
after several years. Regardless of the color in which Sport Esteem
emphasizes the vehicle’s sporty note, into which it is integrated.

Sport-Esteem is the novel, innovative, sporty material of the
Benecke-Kaliko Group that is set to enrich automotive interiors.
As a symbiosis of exclusivity and sporty impression, it lends
