Yugas, the colour of the residuary Yuga, viz., of Dvapar adopted by Him isdescribed as' Krishna' - heavenly blue hue. Because the Satya and TretaYugas had already elapsed, the 'Pitavarna' of the Descent refers to thealready past Avatar. Here it is said that Sri Krishna is the FullestManifestation, i.e., Svayam Bhagavan, 551 all the other Avatars are mergedor included in Him and all the functions of the Yugavataras will beaccomplished by Him only. He, Who descends as Svayam BhagavanSri Krishna in Dvapar, will certainly descend as 'Gaur' in thefollowing Kali Yuga, indicating thereby that the 'Gaur' Avatar isthe special Descent of Sri Krishna Himself possessing a naturalexcellence and elegance. This Descent of 'Gaur' is described by SriVyasadev with unfailing accuracy with His Own Epithets like'Krishnavarnam', etc., i.e., One in Whose <strong>Name</strong> the two syllables 'Kri-shna'exist as the <strong>Name</strong> 'Sri Krishna Chaitanya' discloses His Krishnatva(Svayam Bhagavattva) of Which the twin syllables 'Krishna' connectedtad etad āvirbhāvatvaṁ tasya svayam eva viśeṣaṇa-dvārā vyanakti—kṛṣṇa-varṇaṁ kṛṣṇety etau varṇau ca yatra yasmin śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya-devanāmnikṛṣṇatvābhivyañjakaṁ kṛṣṇeti varṇa-yugalaṁ prayuktam astīty arthaḥ |tṛtīye śrīmad-uddhava-vākye samāhṛtā ity ādi padye śriyaḥ savarṇena [bhā.pu.3.3.3] ity atra ṭīkāyāṁ, śriyo rukmiṇyāḥ samāna-varṇa-dvayaṁ vācakaṁ yasyasa śriyaḥ sa-varṇo rukmī ity api dṛśyate |yad vā, kṛṣṇaṁ varṇayati tādṛśa-sva-paramānanda-vilāsa-smaraṇollāsavaśatayāsvayaṁ gāyati, parama-kāruṇikatayā ca sarvebhyo’pi lokebhyas tamevopadiśati yas tam | athavā, svayam akṛṣṇaṁ gauraṁ tviṣā sva-śobhayāviśeṣeṇaiva kṛṣṇopadeṣṭāraṁ ca yad-darśanenaiva sarveṣāṁ kṛṣṇaḥ sphuratītyarthaḥ | kiṁ vā, sarva-loka-draṣṭāraṁ kṛṣṇaṁ gauram api bhakta-viśeṣa-dṛṣṭautviṣā prakāśa-viśeṣeṇa kṛṣṇa-varṇaṁ tādṛśa-śyāmasundaram eva santam ityarthaḥ | tasmāt tasmin śrī-kṛṣṇa-rūpasyaiva prakāśāt tasyaivāvirbhāva-viśeṣaḥ saiti bhāvaḥ |tasya bhagavattvam eva spaṣṭayati—sāṅgopāṅgāstra-pārṣadam aṅgānyeva parama-manoharatvāt, upāṅgāni bhūṣaṇādīni mahāprabhāvatvāt, tānyevāstrāṇi sarvadaivaikānta-vāsitvāt, tāny eva pārṣadāḥ bahubhir mahānubhāvairasakṛd eva tathā dṛṣṭo’sāv iti gauḍa-varendra-suhmotkalādi-deśīyānāṁ mahāprasiddheḥ| yad vā, atyanta-premāspadatvāt tat-tulyā eva pārṣadāḥ śrīmadadvaitācārya-mahānubhāva-caraṇa-prabhṛtayastaiḥ saha vartamānam iticārthāntareṇa vyaktam |tad evaṁ-bhūtaṁ kair yajanti ? yajñaiḥ pūjā-sambhāraiḥ, na yatra yajñeśamakhamahotsavāḥ (śrīmad-bhāgavata 5.19.24) ity ukteḥ | tatra ca viśeṣeṇa tamevābhidheyaṁ vyanakti—saṅkīrtanaṁ bahubhir militvā tad-gāna-sukhaṁ śrīkṛṣṇa-gānaṁtat-pradhaṇaiḥ | tathā saṅkīrtana-prādhānyasya tad-āśriteṣv evadarśanāt, sa evātrābhidheya iti spaṣṭam | ata eva sahasra-nāmni tad-avatārasūcakānināmāni kathitāni, suvarṇa-varṇo hemāṅgo varāṅgaś candanāṅgadī |sannyāsa-kṛc chamaḥ śāntaḥ ity ādīni darśitaṁ ca | etat parama-vidvacchiromaṇināśrī-sārvabhauma-bhaṭṭācāryeṇakālān naṣṭa bhakti-yogaṁ nijaṁ yaḥprāduṣkartuṁ kṛṣṇa-caitanya-nāmāāvirbhūtas tasya pādāravindegāḍhaṁ gāḍhaṁ līyatāṁ citta-bhṛṅgaḥ(krama-sandarbhaḥ)299
