Every student at <strong>LSN</strong> <strong>is</strong> assigned a BEST mentor group.The goals of the BEST program are to help students:•Gain responsibility for their academic future•Develop an awareness of their strengths and weaknesses•Acquire skills necessary for success in a diverse community•Get to know a smaller group of students who will staytogether for all 4 years at <strong>LSN</strong>•Build bond with <strong>LSN</strong> adult on informal bas<strong>is</strong>•Mentor <strong>is</strong> lia<strong>is</strong>on to parents, teachers, counselors, and admin<strong>is</strong>trators•Students meet in BEST groups every Wednesday after first hourfor 15 minutes
