Short CV’s:
Nullo Facchini (concept & director) (DK/
Italy) artistic director of Cantabile 2 and of
the international theatre festival Waves,
that takes place every second year in Vordingborg,
as well as director of most of the
theater’s productions since the beginning in
Italy in 1983. Has among others received
the Kjell Abel Prize, the Yearly Cultural
Prize and the Danish Theatre Critics Initiative
prize.
Ole Fogh Kirkeby (concept & philosopher)
(DK) is professor of The Philosophy
of Management at CBS and director of
Center for Art & Leadership. Has created a
new line within phenomenological philosophy
with its main accent on the concepts
of the “body-mind” and the “event”. Is a
Doctor of Philosophy from the University of
Aarhus and widely known as the one who
grounded and developed philosophy of
leadership in Scandinavia.
Kristian Knudsen (set designer) (DK) architect,
set designer and developer of designs, constructions
and ergonomics within the physical
stage art. Has among others cooperated with
Cantabile 2 in Mermaids, City Circus Berserk
and Haiku, with Neander in Blow Job, The
Return of the Saviour and Creature, and with
Produktion Fantasia in My Head and Don’t
Let Me, Down. His latest work is the doll performance
Tosserier with Peter Holst.
Sofie Salfelt (costume designer) (DK) educated
from Central Saint Martins College of
Art & Design in London. Among her latest
works are costume design for Haiku, set design
assistent The Venus Labyrinth (both for
Cantabile 2); a dance installation/exhibition
for Gallery Kling&Bang in Iceland, set design
for Don Giovanni (Cochrane Theatre, London)
and set design and visual concept for a dance
performance in London.
Allan Hansen (light designer) (DK) is
employee at Cantabile 2 since February
2008 as technician, light designer and
production manager in the performances
City Circus Berserk, The Beggar’s Opera,
Bombshells and Haiku as well as at the theatre
festival Waves. During the last 12 years he has
worked for several Danish Theatres.

Mette Aakjær (director’s assistent) (DK)
explores the interactivity and sensuality within
the stage art. As artsitic director of Wunderland
she made the international project
Butterfly Effects. Is also freelance dancer
and actress for among others Kitt Johnson,
Cantabile 2, Pernille Garde and SIGNA.
Siri Haff (director’s assistent & permanently
employed performer by Cantabile
2) (DK) graduated from School of Stage Arts
in 2004 and ever since member of Cantabile
2. Has among others performed in the solos
Inca Cola and Bombshells. She works in
a large range of scenic expressions within
the artistic universe of the theatre - counting
physical and visual work, installation and
one-to-one experiences, classic text work,
singing and expressive voice work.
Nora Amin (performer) (Egypt) writer, choreographer
and theatre director. One of the
founders of the Cairo Opera House’s modern
dance company, and runs her own theatre.
Directs for the state theatres of Germany and
USA. A former professor at Mount Holyoke
College/Massachussetts and at Freie university/Berlin.
Announced by the British Council
as Egypt’s cultural leader in the performing
arts.
Eva Balzer (performer) (Germany) has a
theoretial background in Cultural Anthropology/Indology.
Her training is besides European
Theatre Methods based on movement
works developed on the basis of Asian Philosophies.
Her working method is focusing
on Improvisation/Awareness work and her
performances are related to autobiographic
themes and search an intimate, personal
contact to the spectator.
Sharron Devine (performer) (Scotland)
classically trained Actor from East 15 Acting
School in London. Has for 12 years
predominantly been working at theatres in
Scotland and England. The last five years
she has been focusing on devising and
making her own theatre projects as well as
cooperating with international artists in Italy,
Slovakia and Denmark. Sharron performed
in Cantabile 2’s The Venus Labyrinth in
Glasgow, 2010.
Nisrin Fendi (performer) (Syria) graduated
from the high institute of Dramatic Arts
in Syria. Has participated in several works
within theatre, film and TV. Working also
in children’s programmes at the national TV
of Syria.

Mohamed Habib (performer) (Egypt)
actor, dancer, choreographer and theatre
director. Has participated in many productions
presented in international festivals
and won prizes. A former member of the
Cairo Opera House Modern Dance Company.
Has attended several modern dance
workshops with international choreographers
around the world.
Signe Harder (performer) (DK) living in
Malmø, Sweden, with husband and child.
graduated in 2006 from Cantabile 2´s
School of Stage Arts. Has hereafter performed
in Cantabile 2´s The Venus Labyrinth
and on different occasions with Kristjan
Ingimarsson and the theatre Neander.
Aude Henrye (performer) (France)
trained in physical theatre. Is primarily
working with the theatre company NIE,
but also involved in international projects.
Collaborating with artists of different backgrounds
such as dance, clown, graphic
art design, video direction, butho…such
as Déclins d’oeil, Merveill’ Europe, Cantabile
2, Gerry Flanagan and Les Ateliers
Intermediaires.
Shehab Ibrahim (performer) (Egypt/Sudan)
A prominent comedian in Egypt who
has taken part in more than 40 theatre
productions, several of which were presented
at international festivals. He also
acts for the cinema and Television and is
dubbing cartoons. Shehab is a short man.
Mazz Marsden (performer) (Australia) based
in Edinburgh, Scotland. Has a background in
Physical Theatre, Dance & Movement, Clowning,
Cabaret, Circus, Fire Performance, Aerial
and Street Theatre. Has been involved with
te POOKa (Performance Arts Charity) for four
years, and five years with the Beltane Fire
Society community arts theatre (both in Edinburgh)
and performed in Australia and Europe.
Participated in Cantabile 2’s The Venus Labyrinth
in Glasgow (2010).
Nina Matthis (performer) (Sweden) graduated
from School of Stage Arts in 2008. Based
in Belgrade and has worked with Cantabile 2
in The Beggar’s Opera, City Circus Berserk,
The Guardian Angels and Haiku. Among her
special skills are stage fight, aerial dance, circus,
juggling, acrobatics, stilts, fire arts, and
mask-making.

Nanda Mohammad (performer) (Syria)
graduated from the High Institute of Dramatic
Arts in Syria. Has performed in many plays in
both Arabic and English with different directors
in Syria as well as in Europe. Is also an important
soap-opera performer in Syrian television.
Kamel Najmeh (performer) (Syria) graduated
from Damascus High Institute of Drama and
from the Damascus University, Faculty of Letters
(French Literature). Has participated in
many local and international workshops and
performances i.e. with Theatre Du Soleil (Paris,
France), with Astragali Acting group (Brindisi,
Italy), with Al-Hamra Theatre (Tunis, Tunisia)
and many othersin Spain, Yeman, Egypt, Jordan,
Iran and Syria.
Jacob Nossell (stand-up comedian) (DK)
studying journalism and social science at
RUC. Has written articles to magazines and
newspapers, participated in tv-programmes
and film and entertained audiences with
lectures and comedy. Is known for his participation
in the documentary ”The Red
Chapel” with comedian Simon Jul and
journalist Mads Brügger. Jacob Nossell is
born spastic.
Karolina Pietrzykowska (performer) (Poland)
graduated at Lart Sudio acting school in
Cracow; has also studied psychology at
Warsaw University and English philology
at Jagiellonian University. She has mainly
worked with Theatre MasQuera, KTO Theatre
and Theatre A PART and also participatedin
Cantabile 2’s The Venus Labyrinth. She is one
of the founders of KoME Theatre Group.
Ea Christiansen (teenager) (DK) a highschool
student in Vordingborg who has participatedin
several workshops at Cantabile 2
as well as performed as Dol and Dod in the
theater’s performance The Ocean Sea (2005)
and as Oracle in the The Venus Labyrinth
(2009).
Amalie Grønkjær Hansen (teenager) (DK)
a highschool student in Vordingborg
who has participated in several workshops at
Cantabile 2 and performed as Oracle in the
The Venus Labyrinth (2009). Besides she is
a student at Eventyrteatret on her 2nd year,
where she is taught in drama, singing, dance
and stunt.

Helga Rosenfeldt-Olsen (DK)
has a MFA from Dell’Arte International
School of physical
theatre and has besides been
studying antropology. Works
with different projects, as actress
and clown in Denmark,
US and India. Is co-founder of
the theatre company Teaterministeriet
and has lately performed
in Cantabile 2’s The Venus Labyrinth
(2010).
