Nullo Facchini (concept & director) (DK/<br />

Italy) artistic director of <strong>Cantabile</strong> 2 and of<br />

the international theatre festival Waves,<br />

that takes place every second year in Vordingborg,<br />

as well as director of most of the<br />

theater’s productions since the beginning in<br />

Italy in 1983. Has among others received<br />

the Kjell Abel Prize, the Yearly Cultural<br />

Prize and the Danish Theatre Critics Initiative<br />

prize.<br />

Ole Fogh Kirkeby (concept & philosopher)<br />

(DK) is professor of The Philosophy<br />

of Management at CBS and director of<br />

Center for Art & Leadership. Has created a<br />

new line within phenomenological philosophy<br />

with its main accent on the concepts<br />

of the “body-mind” and the “event”. Is a<br />

Doctor of Philosophy from the University of<br />

Aarhus and widely known as the one who<br />

grounded and developed philosophy of<br />

leadership in Scandinavia.<br />

Kristian Knudsen (set designer) (DK) architect,<br />

set designer and developer of designs, constructions<br />

and ergonomics within the physical<br />

stage art. Has among others cooperated with<br />

<strong>Cantabile</strong> 2 in Mermaids, City Circus Berserk<br />

and Haiku, with Neander in Blow Job, The<br />

Return of the Saviour and Creature, and with<br />

Produktion Fantasia in My Head and Don’t<br />

Let Me, Down. His latest work is the doll performance<br />

Tosserier with Peter Holst.<br />

Sofie Salfelt (costume designer) (DK) educated<br />

from Central Saint Martins College of<br />

Art & Design in London. Among her latest<br />

works are costume design for Haiku, set design<br />

assistent The Venus Labyrinth (both for<br />

<strong>Cantabile</strong> 2); a dance installation/exhibition<br />

for Gallery Kling&Bang in Iceland, set design<br />

for Don Giovanni (Cochrane Theatre, London)<br />

and set design and visual concept for a dance<br />

performance in London.<br />

Allan Hansen (light designer) (DK) is<br />

employee at <strong>Cantabile</strong> 2 since February<br />

2008 as technician, light designer and<br />

production manager in the performances<br />

City Circus Berserk, The Beggar’s Opera,<br />

Bombshells and Haiku as well as at the theatre<br />

festival Waves. During the last 12 years he has<br />

worked for several Danish Theatres.


Mette Aakjær (director’s assistent) (DK)<br />

explores the interactivity and sensuality within<br />

the stage art. As artsitic director of Wunderland<br />

she made the international project<br />

Butterfly Effects. Is also freelance dancer<br />

and actress for among others Kitt Johnson,<br />

<strong>Cantabile</strong> 2, Pernille Garde and SIGNA.<br />

Siri Haff (director’s assistent & permanently<br />

employed performer by <strong>Cantabile</strong><br />

2) (DK) graduated from School of Stage Arts<br />

in 2004 and ever since member of <strong>Cantabile</strong><br />

2. Has among others performed in the solos<br />

Inca Cola and Bombshells. She works in<br />

a large range of scenic expressions within<br />

the artistic universe of the theatre - counting<br />

physical and visual work, installation and<br />

one-to-one experiences, classic text work,<br />

singing and expressive voice work.<br />

Nora Amin (performer) (Egypt) writer, choreographer<br />

and theatre director. One of the<br />

founders of the Cairo Opera House’s modern<br />

dance company, and runs her own theatre.<br />

Directs for the state theatres of Germany and<br />

USA. A former professor at Mount Holyoke<br />

College/Massachussetts and at Freie university/Berlin.<br />

Announced by the British Council<br />

as Egypt’s cultural leader in the performing<br />

arts.<br />

Eva Balzer (performer) (Germany) has a<br />

theoretial background in Cultural Anthropology/Indology.<br />

Her training is besides European<br />

Theatre Methods based on movement<br />

works developed on the basis of Asian Philosophies.<br />

Her working method is focusing<br />

on Improvisation/Awareness work and her<br />

performances are related to autobiographic<br />

themes and search an intimate, personal<br />

contact to the spectator.<br />

Sharron Devine (performer) (Scotland)<br />

classically trained Actor from East 15 Acting<br />

School in London. Has for 12 years<br />

predominantly been working at theatres in<br />

Scotland and England. The last five years<br />

she has been focusing on devising and<br />

making her own theatre projects as well as<br />

cooperating with international artists in Italy,<br />

Slovakia and Denmark. Sharron performed<br />

in <strong>Cantabile</strong> 2’s The Venus Labyrinth in<br />

Glasgow, 2010.<br />

Nisrin Fendi (performer) (Syria) graduated<br />

from the high institute of Dramatic Arts<br />

in Syria. Has participated in several works<br />

within theatre, film and TV. Working also<br />

in children’s programmes at the national TV<br />

of Syria.


Mohamed Habib (performer) (Egypt)<br />

actor, dancer, choreographer and theatre<br />

director. Has participated in many productions<br />

presented in international festivals<br />

and won prizes. A former member of the<br />

Cairo Opera House Modern Dance Company.<br />

Has attended several modern dance<br />

workshops with international choreographers<br />

around the world.<br />

Signe Harder (performer) (DK) living in<br />

Malmø, Sweden, with husband and child.<br />

graduated in 2006 from <strong>Cantabile</strong> 2´s<br />

School of Stage Arts. Has <strong>here</strong>after performed<br />

in <strong>Cantabile</strong> 2´s The Venus Labyrinth<br />

and on different occasions with Kristjan<br />

Ingimarsson and the theatre Neander.<br />

Aude Henrye (performer) (France)<br />

trained in physical theatre. Is primarily<br />

working with the theatre company NIE,<br />

but also involved in international projects.<br />

Collaborating with artists of different backgrounds<br />

such as dance, clown, graphic<br />

art design, video direction, butho…such<br />

as Déclins d’oeil, Merveill’ Europe, <strong>Cantabile</strong><br />

2, Gerry Flanagan and Les Ateliers<br />

Shehab Ibrahim (performer) (Egypt/Sudan)<br />

A prominent comedian in Egypt who<br />

has taken part in more than 40 theatre<br />

productions, several of which were presented<br />

at international festivals. He also<br />

acts for the cinema and Television and is<br />

dubbing cartoons. Shehab is a <strong>short</strong> man.<br />

Mazz Marsden (performer) (Australia) based<br />

in Edinburgh, Scotland. Has a background in<br />

Physical Theatre, Dance & Movement, Clowning,<br />

Cabaret, Circus, Fire Performance, Aerial<br />

and Street Theatre. Has been involved with<br />

te POOKa (Performance Arts Charity) for four<br />

years, and five years with the Beltane Fire<br />

Society community arts theatre (both in Edinburgh)<br />

and performed in Australia and Europe.<br />

Participated in <strong>Cantabile</strong> 2’s The Venus Labyrinth<br />

in Glasgow (2010).<br />

Nina Matthis (performer) (Sweden) graduated<br />

from School of Stage Arts in 2008. Based<br />

in Belgrade and has worked with <strong>Cantabile</strong> 2<br />

in The Beggar’s Opera, City Circus Berserk,<br />

The Guardian Angels and Haiku. Among her<br />

special skills are stage fight, aerial dance, circus,<br />

juggling, acrobatics, stilts, fire arts, and<br />

mask-making.


Nanda Mohammad (performer) (Syria)<br />

graduated from the High Institute of Dramatic<br />

Arts in Syria. Has performed in many plays in<br />

both Arabic and English with different directors<br />

in Syria as well as in Europe. Is also an important<br />

soap-opera performer in Syrian television.<br />

Kamel Najmeh (performer) (Syria) graduated<br />

from Damascus High Institute of Drama and<br />

from the Damascus University, Faculty of Letters<br />

(French Literature). Has participated in<br />

many local and international workshops and<br />

performances i.e. with Theatre Du Soleil (Paris,<br />

France), with Astragali Acting group (Brindisi,<br />

Italy), with Al-Hamra Theatre (Tunis, Tunisia)<br />

and many othersin Spain, Yeman, Egypt, Jordan,<br />

Iran and Syria.<br />

Jacob Nossell (stand-up comedian) (DK)<br />

studying journalism and social science at<br />

RUC. Has written articles to magazines and<br />

newspapers, participated in tv-programmes<br />

and film and entertained audiences with<br />

lectures and comedy. Is known for his participation<br />

in the documentary ”The Red<br />

Chapel” with comedian Simon Jul and<br />

journalist Mads Brügger. Jacob Nossell is<br />

born spastic.<br />

Karolina Pietrzykowska (performer) (Poland)<br />

graduated at Lart Sudio acting school in<br />

Cracow; has also studied psychology at<br />

Warsaw University and English philology<br />

at Jagiellonian University. She has mainly<br />

worked with Theatre MasQuera, KTO Theatre<br />

and Theatre A PART and also participatedin<br />

<strong>Cantabile</strong> 2’s The Venus Labyrinth. She is one<br />

of the founders of KoME Theatre Group.<br />

Ea Christiansen (teenager) (DK) a highschool<br />

student in Vordingborg who has participatedin<br />

several workshops at <strong>Cantabile</strong> 2<br />

as well as performed as Dol and Dod in the<br />

theater’s performance The Ocean Sea (2005)<br />

and as Oracle in the The Venus Labyrinth<br />

(2009).<br />

Amalie Grønkjær Hansen (teenager) (DK)<br />

a highschool student in Vordingborg<br />

who has participated in several workshops at<br />

<strong>Cantabile</strong> 2 and performed as Oracle in the<br />

The Venus Labyrinth (2009). Besides she is<br />

a student at Eventyrteatret on her 2nd year,<br />

w<strong>here</strong> she is taught in drama, singing, dance<br />

and stunt.


Helga Rosenfeldt-Olsen (DK)<br />

has a MFA from Dell’Arte International<br />

School of physical<br />

theatre and has besides been<br />

studying antropology. Works<br />

with different projects, as actress<br />

and clown in Denmark,<br />

US and India. Is co-founder of<br />

the theatre company Teaterministeriet<br />

and has lately performed<br />

in <strong>Cantabile</strong> 2’s The Venus Labyrinth<br />

(2010).
