The core of EHX comprise of <strong>Henrik</strong> <strong>Christophersen</strong> who is an analytical, methodical and service minded<br />
person, who possess the ability to work in a highly constructive and resourceful manner. Having been<br />
exposed to numerous cultures through work and studies, he has an international outlook and thrives in a<br />
challenging, demanding and multi-cultural environment.<br />
He resides in Northern Zealand but has for over 20 years lived, worked and studied in The United States,<br />
The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Estonia, Spain, Belgium and Denmark.<br />

HORESTA is the national trade association for hotels, restaurants and the<br />

Primary tasks:<br />
• Responsible for the classification of 600 hotels, conference facilities, holiday centers and<br />
congress facilities as well as facilitating various tourist labeling schemes<br />
• Responsible for the departments of The Green Key, Danish Tourist Attractions and<br />
The Accessibility Association<br />
• Responsible for HORESTA’s international relations regarding hotel classification, standards<br />
(including the liaison with HotelStars Union and HOTREC) and hotel fire safety<br />
• Enhancing and encouraging a higher quality level among HORESTA’s member hotels<br />
including standards compliance evaluations<br />
• In charge of strategic planning and project management of classification developments and<br />
international cooperation<br />
• Giving advice to the industry stakeholders on trends, standards and customer quality<br />
• Responsible for HORESTA’s sales and marketing activities<br />
• Responsible for the implementation and development of HORESTA’s membership benefits<br />
