President’s Message 

Hello Everyone! 

I’d like to start my letter off this 

quarter by stating the obvious: 2006 

is about to come to a close! This is 

worth stating because I want to make 

you aware of how critical this time of 

year can be – both for you personally 

and for your ACN business. In fact, if 

you’ve ever wanted to set yourself 

apart in your ACN business, now is the 

time to do it! Every year about this 

time, I talk about how important, how 

influential the last few months of the 

year can be. This information is important enough to bear repeating 

so this year is no different. 

Take a marathon runner for example. A marathon runner starts the 

race strong, full of energy and excitement. As the race progresses, 

it becomes more challenging to stay motivated; this is where the 

true skill of the marathoner is revealed. And even the most talented 

of athletes might slow down and take a few breaks at times, but as 

the finish line approaches, their mood starts to 

change. To win the race, the last few critical miles 

are the most important. The runner must pick up 

the pace and reach down deep inside to keep up 

their energy and motivation. When a normal person 

might quit and give in, the marathoner is just 

getting started. 

The same goes for your ACN business and 

these last, few critical months of the year. Whereas 

many other people are inclined to slow down 

and take the holiday months off, you have to 

think like the marathoner. You’ve got the reach 

down deep inside, ask yourself why it is you are 

in this business; what is waiting for you at the end 

of your ACN finish line? Maybe it’s more money, 

more time or more freedom. Whatever it is, you 

can’t give up on that and allow distractions to 

take your mind off the race. You’ve got to finish the race – and the 

year – strong. Think like the marathoner, and I promise you eventually 

you will reap all the rewards. 

In fact, the holiday months can be some of the most critical for success 

in your business. Of course you should take time to enjoy your 

family and friends, and take time to reflect on the past year and start 

to plan some of your goals for the coming year. But most importantly, 

stay focused. The most successful people focus on their goals 365 

days a year – and not just when it’s convenient. 

And when you are spending time with your family and friends this 

holiday season, ask yourself, “Does he need a plan B?” “Could she use 

a little extra income?” Your next prospects just might be sitting right 

in front of you. Use the holiday parties and gatherings to give the gift 

of ACN to everyone important to you this season. 

Again, staying motivated can sometimes be challenging; that’s why 

the rewards are so great. The best things in life definitely don’t come 

the easiest. And trust me; the best is yet to come! Much like the marathoner, 

even as the year comes to a close, ACN definitely isn’t slowing 

down. In fact, we’ve only just begun.

most memorable events…ever! In addition to thousands of attendees, 

outstanding company announcements, industry-leading training, 

a record setting charity donation, and some of the best networking

on January 1st ahead of your goals for the year; 

you’ll already be in momentum mode. Imagine 

being ahead of your goals for the year and the 

year hasn’t even begun yet! You can’t put a price 

on that. Anaheim is especially important for 

those of you that might need a little extra push 

this time of year. If this describes you, get yourself

If you take one thing from this letter, take this: 

it doesn’t matter how you started the year – it matters how you finish. 

Again, while we may not always remember if the marathoner started 

the race out in front or what happened along the way for that matter, 

we will certainly remember where they finished. Don’t you deserve to

Another successful chapter for ACN Europe is in the books.

The preparations for ACN’s 19th country launch continue as 

Europe prepares itself for yet another formidable market 

stocked with potential. All eyes were on Central Europe in 

mid-October when ACN introduced its fixed-line service in 

Poland with five pre-launch events in different cities around 

the country. 

The Donald J. Trump endorsement continued to dominate 

the discussions around Europe as record numbers purchased 

their very own copies of the new Opportunity Presentation 

Disc featuring the famous business himself. 

Much of the third quarter was also spent preparing for 

ACN Europe’s final International Event of 2006. Copenhagen, 

Denmark once again served as proud host for the thousands 

of eager representatives ready to benefit from some 

of this industry’s finest training and much, much more. The 

weekend of October 13-15 could not come soon enough for 

those wanting to share their extensive knowledge of direct 

selling with those wanting to learn a marketing concept 

that is proven and has no boundaries. 

ACN’s vast product offering continued to impress as 

further enhancements were made across Europe’s entire 

product portfolio allowing representatives to flourish and

Several weeks have passed since the Baltimore International Training Event 

and representatives are still buzzing about the magical weekend featuring record-breaking 

crowds, powerful training sessions and the appearance of multibillionaire 

Donald J. Trump. 

During the event, hundreds walked the stage in recognition of their hard work, 

many of them providing testimonials of how persistence and a positive mindset 

took them to the top. It’s clear the energy generated in Baltimore will impact 

representatives for a long time. 

While it would be impossible to summarize everything that happened at the 

event, here are a few highlights:

During the event, Mr. Trump made his endorsement of ACN official 

with his exciting appearance Sunday morning. On stage, he spoke about 

meeting with ACN’s Founders: “These people are good people. These 

people are people that, in my opinion, have everybody in the audience 

in mind in a positive way, not themselves.” 

C h a r i t y : Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 

The Honorable Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr., Governor of Maryland, and the 

First Lady of Maryland, Kendel Ehrlich, were on hand as ACN made a donation 

of $100,000 to the Maryland Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 

Donations by ACN representatives were matched by ACN to 

equal $82,000 with Mr. Trump offering a last-minute donation to bring 

the donation to six figures. (Read more on page 15.) 

N e w G e t t i n g S t a r t e d P r o g r a m 

Those in attendance heard about a new Team Trainer email program 

designed to assist new TTs as they work their way to the Executive Team 

Trainer (ETT) position. Under this program, ACN will send a series of five 

informative and motivational emails to each new Team Trainer within 

their first 30 days in the business. The emails include a list of ACN’s 10 

Core Commitments, motivation and encouragement, tips for success, 

and inspiring messages from ACN President Greg Provenzano.

A u t o - S h i p p i n g 

Representatives in Baltimore were able to purchase a supply of ACN 

Opportunity Discs and save 50% on their order. In addition, kiosks allowed

tool and have it delivered straight to their home. On stage, the Founders

Representatives learned how new markets in the United States and

In Canada, ACN has launched new local markets in 13 cities within the 

province of Ontario. In the United States, the ACN Advantage family has 

expanded into five Verizon markets, including Maine, New Hampshire, 

Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia.

Events 

As announced on stage in Baltimore, ACN has begun a new initiative 

to make marketing materials available in Spanish, reaching out to the 

Hispanic population and making the ACN Opportunity available to more 

people than ever before. The initiative includes Spanish versions of ACN 

in Action announcements, a Spanish option for those calling ACN’s Interactive 

Voice Response system and translations of the Opportunity Disc, 

the ACN website and all collateral.

t took three invitations from his friend to get Craig Kotter to an ACN presentation, but he finally relented and discovered an opportunity that 

could change his family’s life. After signing up, Craig and wife Chelsea realized that a similar amount of persistence would help them reach their 

goals. 

Craig began the business to help provide more for his family financially. Knowing the motivation behind his drive, one of Craig’s mentors advised 

him, “Stick with me and stick with this opportunity.” Craig never forgot that. Even when others doubted him, he remained focused on his goal. After 

hard work and sacrifice, Craig gained not only financial freedom but the belief of others as well. 

Within a few years, Craig and Chelsea built one of the largest organizations in ACN, culminating with their promotion to Regional Vice President 

during the Baltimore International Training Event. On stage, Chelsea apologized for being among those who once doubted her husband and 

thanked him for pulling her along. “ACN is the best thing to ever happen to us,” she said. 

Added Craig, “If my best friend would not have made that phone call and pursued me after those three times that I rejected him, I would not be 

here. This company has literally changed our lives. It has been worth everything. And if you do not stick this thing out, you are crazy.”

Both men were looking for a way to escape their burdensome jobs before finding ACN. Employed at a pharmaceutical company, Michel felt he 

was forced to work with people he didn’t respect and wasn’t getting paid what he was worth. Dany, a musician, felt trapped into playing festivals 

and clubs just for money instead of enjoying the freedom to pick his own venues. 

Michel was introduced to ACN and was so impressed with the opportunity that he lost sleep dreaming of the possibilities. With support from 

company leaders, Michel presented the opportunity to Dany, a former co-worker, and the two formed a powerful partnership. The Canadian men 

built a strong organization, rose through the ranks and were promoted to the position of Regional Vice Presidents during the Baltimore International 

Training Event. 

On stage, Michel said partnering with Dany was the best decision he made. “Before I met Dany, my business was going slow, slow, slow. And 

then boom, the business explodes like this. And after that, I started to find other players in my business. So maybe if you haven’t found a leader, 

don’t stop. Maybe the next one will be the leader.” 

Dany advised new representatives to be coachable, listen to ACN leaders and never quit. “You can do it. We did it. A lot of leaders did it. So you 

can do it.”

Representatives Make a Difference in Baltimore 

with Outpouring of Generosity 

The Honorable Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr., Governor of Maryland, and the First Lady of Maryland, Kendel Ehrlich, were on 

hand as ACN made a donation of $100,000 to the Maryland Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Donations by 

ACN representatives were matched by ACN to equal $82,000 with Guest Speaker Donald J. Trump offering a last-minute 

donation to bring the donation to six figures. 

Surely weighing heavily on each attendee’s mind as they reached deep into their pockets was the touching story 

shared by Wendy West and her daughter Megan on Saturday morning. The courage and faith this duo showed in the 

face of Cystic Fibrosis served as an inspiration to all. 

In a letter to ACN, Wendy told of the difference 

ACN representatives made that weekend… 

Megan and I were thrilled at the response we got from ACN. 

So many people shared their own stories with us and touched 

us with their generosity and kindness. It is always hard to share 

our story since we cannot predict a happy ending. But every 

time I do share our story and people respond the way ACN did, 

it makes it all worthwhile. That day, I proved to myself and my 

daughter that I can do anything I set my mind to. And that, in 

turn, showed Megan that she can do anything she sets her mind 

to. I was absolutely terrified to speak in front of such a large 

group. Megan, as always, helped me through it. She is a true 

inspiration the way she always perseveres. I know that I must 

also persevere. 

We would like to thank all ACN representatives, employees 

and Donald Trump for creating such an amazing memory for 

Megan and I. The money that was donated will go to valuable 

research. In the past, research has given us drugs like Pulmozyme, 

which helps thin mucus so that CF patients can expel it 

easier, and Tobi, which helps fight lung infections. There are so 

many new drugs that might hold the key to a cure, but money 

is needed to complete studies. Thank you again for choosing CF 

as your charity and making a huge difference in the life of CF 

families like mine. Megan will have the amazing memories from 

the conference to hold on to for a lifetime.

In 1998, I received a call from my good friend 

who is an expert in direct selling. He told me 

about an emerging telephone company called 

ACN and that he would like me to meet with Co- 

Founder Robert Stevanovski about providing legal 

services. 

I contacted Mr. Stevanovski and during our 

conversation I asked him what kind of trouble 

ACN was in. (As a former Kansas Attorney General, 

I am most often contacted when there is a consumer 

protection problem.) Robert advised me 

that there were no problems and the Co-Founders 

did not want any. That was refreshing news. 

I signed up as a legal consultant to ACN. Subsequent 

to commencing my work, Mr. Stevanovski 

suggested the formation of a legal review 

team to provide ACN with appropriate 

legal guidelines. That Legal Advisory Committee

Working as a child care provider and going to 

nursing school full-time was already enough for 

Daria Easter to handle. Then, she was forced to quit 

her job to care for her grandmother. 

As Daria began searching for another way to make 

money, a friend introduced her to ACN. Instead of 

working a 9-5 job, she could work ACN in her spare 

time and concentrate on school and caring for her 

grandmother.

Before ACN, Tammy Tvait was working in a small town, family-owned saw mill for 

$11 an hour. Her only previous experience with direct selling was with a vacuum 

cleaner company many years ago which required she make cold calls to strangers. 

As she approached the age of 40, Tammy was looking for a new opportunity, 

knowing she couldn’t build the life she wanted working in a saw mill. A friend she 

trusted and respected introduced her to ACN. Tammy also discovered that a former 

co-worker at the mill had become a Team Coordinator at ACN after “taking the bull 

by the horns.” 

Listening to the ACN Opportunity, Tammy thought it sounded too good to be 

true. She was impressed by the chance to earn residual income, allowing her more 

time with her family. As she builds her ACN business, Tammy’s strategy is to be 

honest, sincere and work as a team with other successful representatives. She has 

a no-quit attitude and is committed to her business for the long-term.

Franco Pellegrino has invested in stocks for many years. When he 

was invited to a regional meeting on ACN, he was convinced this 

was the best investment he could ever make. 

“When I was presented ACN, it was simply too good of an opportunity 

to pass by. Somehow, I knew deep down this was going 

to be big,” he said. “Perfect product, perfect compensation plan, 

perfect team.” 

Having already experienced success in the direct selling industry, 

Franco found that ACN’s system of saving money on services 

they already used was much simpler than anything he’d been involved 

with before. 

Franco, a successful Team Coordinator, said his strategy has been 

to build relationships. He advises other representatives to find a 

mentor, talk to everyone they meet about the opportunity and attend 

as many ACN events as possible.

Darin & Jennifer Dowd 

For Darin and Jennifer Dowd, their introduction to ACN came in the form of a Christmas card. 

The message was simple but urgent: “Call me ASAP. I have got to tell you something!” The couple 

quickly acted on the message and called the couple they had known since high school. That’s 

when they learned about an “awesome business opportunity” their friends had discovered. 

Darin and Jennifer were intrigued, but the timing wasn’t right because they were considering 

buying a franchise. They just knew they had to do something different. Their current business was 

stealing 90 hours a week from Darin as he traveled all over northern California, leaving Jennifer 

and their four children alone many nights. 

“We loved the lifestyle that our business had financially given us, but we were wanting more 

time together as a family,” Jennifer said. “We thought buying a franchise would be a turnkey answer. 

As we researched, we found that Darin could be gone more hours a week than he already 

was, and that our income potential would be less than what we were currently making.” 

Two and a half months after the Christmas card, their high school friends called from the ACN International Convention in Fort Worth, 

Texas. The friends sounded ecstatic as they informed Darin and Jennifer that Donald J. Trump had endorsed ACN. “There was so much 

excitement and conviction in their voices that we were actually afraid not to at least look at what they were doing. About two weeks 

later, we drove an hour and a half to an opportunity meeting. That’s the beginning of our story,” Darin said. 

The couple began their own ACN business and went for it with everything they had. With that mindset, the couple hit Team Coordinator 

in 118 days and put themselves in a financial position to replace and exceed their previous income. Since joining ACN, Darin and 

Jennifer learned to speak publicly, to motivate others, and to act as leaders. Plus, they found a freedom they had never dreamed was 

possible. 

“ With our previous business, Darin had spent a lot of time sleeping on the 

road,” Jennifer said. “S ometimes he would leave on Monday and the k ids 

wouldn’t see him again until Saturday morning. ACN has brought him home.”
