Therail itself can be used as adrilling template for the holesrequired to fix it in place.For the floor space, the sameapplies as described undermobile SEG IV-C.To be able to check and adjustthe headlights exactly, thefollowing must be observedwhen laying the rails:Vehicle floor space and raillevel for the beamsetter mustbe parallel in both extensions.The difference in heightbetween rail running surfacesmust not exceed 0.5 mm(Fig. 1).The rails must be in contactwith the ground over theirwhole length so that theycannot become bent.The rails are laid in pairs at90∞ to the vehicle'slongitudinal axis.Offset must be avoided at railjoints (Fig. 2).2SpacersRail joint without offsetRolled section9
