Public Relations The Public Relations department is coordinated by National <strong>Headquarters</strong> inWashing<strong>to</strong>n DC. The department takes good care <strong>of</strong> moni<strong>to</strong>ring events andissues on Capi<strong>to</strong>l Hill, across the country and overseas that affect the <strong>DOP</strong> aswell as the Greek American community. In addition <strong>to</strong> this, the departmentensures that the <strong>DOP</strong> name is visible in the Greek American communitythrough media relations, news releases, e-newsletters, the website, and<strong>Penelope</strong>’s Scroll. <strong>Penelope</strong>’s Scroll is an online publication which can be found on our website.Hardcopies are available however. Please visit our website for <strong>Penelope</strong>’sScroll submission information, deadlines and Subscription for Hardcopy Form. Members should be encouraged <strong>to</strong> provide an e-mail address on theirmembership application so they can receive our <strong>Headquarters</strong> monthly e-newsletters which now go <strong>to</strong> all <strong>of</strong> our members who have provided a valid e-mail address.
