Yr 7 Castle Competition
In History this year the Year 7 pupils competed in an inter form Castles Competition.
After studying a module on castles in their History lessons, pupils in all five forms in Year 7 had to build
their own model of any castle of their choice. This took place over the Easter holiday and pupils then
brought their castle to school for judging.
Each form was awarded a book voucher for first, second and third place winners.
Mr Quinn and Miss Collings were delighted with the exceptionally high standard of entries and it was
very tough choosing the winners!
The winning castles and some other excellent examples are currently on display in the school library.
The winners were:
1st - Ellie Cox
