TFC RECYCLING ADDS CNG XPEDITORS......AND OPENS AREA’S FIRSTCOMPRESSED NATURAL GASFLEET MAINTENANCE SHOPTFC Recycling based in Chesapeake, Virginia hasadded five new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)Xpeditors to its fleet, making it the largest private ownerand operator of clean-running, collection trucks inVirginia. It has also opened Hampton Roads’ first fleetmaintenance shop capable of working on CNG vehicles.TFC estimates that its six CNG Autocar Xpeditors willeach year displace 60,000 gallons of diesel fuel, whichhelps the environment and reduces the nation’sdependency on foreign oil. Reduced pricingis as follows: 22% of the invoiced amount or a $50.00 minimum charge. (Small parcel is anything that can be handdelivered by the shipping company. NDA items too large for parcel are to be quoted on demand.) Heavy weightshipments (above 75 pounds) must be placed by 1:00pm Local Warehouse Time (LWT).• A NEW freight program for ground went live on 3/5/2012 as well. Invoiced orders under $600.00 will ship viaUPS parcel for a flat rate of $15.00 ($600.00 and over is still free). LTL freight has a flat rate of $100.00.• A NEW shipping standard also started 3/5/2012, is that all orders placed by 1:00pm LWT will be shipped outthat same day! (Emergency orders must be placed by 4:00pm LWT and must be shipped via next day air.)• A NEW Parts Distribution Center (PDC) is opening in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania!
