*These are cumulative of rehabilitation works which are staggered in various OFC routes in the division. The section wise details of the individual routes are given in Annexure-B of Financial Bid. Note: One Bidder can bid for maximum 2 Sections only. 2. Mode of obtaining the tender document: (i) Direct purchase: Tender document containing detailed description of work & terms and conditions can be obtained from SDE (Technical) % DGMM NTR, Shimla by paying the cost of bid document. (ii) By downloading from website: The tender document may be downloaded from website www.ntr.bsnl.co.in. 3. Mode of Payment for tender document: (i) Tender document can be purchased by paying cost of bid document in cash or DD (non refundable) drawn in favour of AO (Cash) BSNL % DGMM (NTR), Shimla payable at Shimla. (ii) Those who submit the downloaded tender document, the cost of tender document is to be submitted separately in separate envelope in the bid document in the form of Crossed Demand Draft issued by a scheduled bank drawn in favour of AO (Cash) BSNL % DGMM (NTR), Shimla payable at Shimla. 4. Mode of Payment for bid security (EMD): Bid Security (EMD) is to be submitted along with the Document in the form of Crossed Demand Draft issued by a scheduled Bank drawn in favour of AO (Cash) BSNL % DGMM (NTR), Shimla payable at Shimla. 5. Tenders will be deposited in two parts: (i) Technical bid: - Technical bid should invariably contain (a) Bid Security in accordance with the tender document. (b) Tender documents in original, duly filled in and signed by tenderer or his authorized representative. (c) The copy of experience certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of Divisional Engineer certifying that the Bidder has completed OFC underground cable laying works of minimum Rs. 10 Lacs in a financial year, for two years in last five years (April, 2005 onwards) (d) Copy of the Registration of EPF of the firm. (e) Copy of the Registration of the firm. Authenticated copy of partnership deed in case of partnership firm. (f) Bid Form, duly filled in, as per section II. (g) Tenderer’s profile, duly filled in, as per section III of the tender document and Original “Power of Attorney” in case person other than the tenderer has signed the tender documents. (h) Copy of Service Tax registration. (i) Bid document cost in case of bidder downloading the tender document from Website. 2 Signature of bidder & Seal
(II) Financial bid shall contain percentage rate quoted as below/At par/Above the schedule of rates for Item Nos. 1 to 5 given in the Quotation of rates (Financial Bid). If the documents in the Technical bid are not as per requirement then the financial bid will not be opened. 1. Sale of Tender documents: - Up to 11:00 hrs. on 17.03.2011 by the SDE (Tech) % DGMM (NTR), Shimla. 2. Time, date and place of submission of bid:- Up to 13:00 hrs. on dated 17.03.2011 in the % DGMM (NTR), Block No. 35 SDA Complex Kasumpti Shimla-171009. 3. Time, date and place of opening of bid (Only Technical bid):- At 15:00 hrs. on dated 17.03.2011 in the % DGMM (NTR), Block No. 35 SDA Complex Kasumpti Shimla-171009. Tender will not be accepted /received after expiry of due date and time. If it happens to be a holiday on any of the dates above, next working day will be applicable. It may be noted that if there is any discrepancy in NIT & Tender document, the terms & conditions in the tender document will prevail. The DGMM (NTR) Shimla reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason what so ever. The contractor shall be blacklisted for a specific period if the contractor fails to execute the contract or executes it unsatisfactorily or is proved to be responsible for constructional defects.
