22 nd <strong>International</strong> Children’s <strong>Painting</strong> <strong>Competition</strong>The <strong>International</strong> Children’s <strong>Painting</strong> <strong>Competition</strong> on the Environmentis organized every year by the United Nations EnvironmentProgramme (UNEP), the Japan-based Foundation for Global Peaceand Environment (FGPE), Bayer and Nikon Corporation.It has been held since 1991 and has received more than 3 millionentries from children in over 150 countries. The theme of the22 nd painting competition will be “Water: The Source of Life” andchildren will have until friday 15 February 2013 to submit theirentries.The organizers are inviting children all over the world to submittheir paintings to the UNEP office in their regions. Addresses ofthese offices are indicated on the Back page.


Entry Rules and Conditions:Children between the age of 6 and 14 years.1) <strong>Painting</strong>s must be done on A4 OR A3 papers.2) Full name, age (day, month, and year), gender and fulladdress including phone and e-mail (in English) must beon the back of the painting.3) Style of painting is free: crayons, coloured pencils,watercolours, etc.4) <strong>Painting</strong>s that have been shown or accepted elsewherewill not be accepted in this competition.5) <strong>Painting</strong>s that show a particular person, an organization ora brand name will not be accepted.6) Do not include any words or descriptions in the paintings.7) Only hard copies of paintings will be accepted.8) You can submit more than one entry.
