"Distribution System""Electric Line"means a system which: (i) is not a TransmissionSystem; (ii) is used to transport electricity; (iii)consists (wholly or mainly) of medium voltageand low voltage Electric Lines and Electric Plant(namely, Electric Lines and Electric Plant withnominal voltage levels of less than 132kV) and(iv) which is used wholly or mainly for thetransport of electricity to Premises;means any line, whether underground oroverground, which is used for carrying electricityfor any purpose and includes, unless the contextotherwise requires:(a)(b)(c)any support for any such line, including,without limitation, any structure, pole,pylon or other thing in, on, by or fromwhich any such line is or may besupported, carried or suspended;any apparatus connected to any such linefor the purpose of carrying electricity; andany wire, cable, tube, pipe or other similarthing (including its casing, insulator orcoating) which surrounds or supports, or issurrounded or supported by, or is installedin close proximity to, or is supported,carried or suspended, in association with,any such line;"Electric Plant" means any plant, equipment, apparatus,installation or appliance used for, or forpurposes connected with, the Generation,Transmission, Dispatch, Distribution or Supplyof electricity, other than:(a)(b)(c)an Electric Line;a meter used for ascertaining the quantityof electricity supplied to any Premises; andan electrical appliance under the control ofa Consumer;"Generation"means the production of electricity by any meansand "Generate" and "Generated" shall beconstrued accordingly;Al Rusail Power Company SAOC Licence Page - 7 -
