I think it is impossible to sum up my high school experience<br />
in just one memory. Saint Anthony’s has provided me with<br />
so many wonderful experiences that I could not have had<br />
anywhere else. I have been given countless opportunities<br />
here and have done so many things that I will never<br />
forget. Socially, athletically and academically I have had<br />
experiences I will always cherish. I remember going to<br />
my first pep rally as a freshman and feeling both<br />
overwhelmed and com pletely excited to be a part of<br />
homecoming. In sophomore and junior years I had the<br />
opportunity to go down to Washington, D.C. with 30 of<br />
my closest friends to play lacrosse over spring break. I sang<br />
karaoke at Senior Antics Night in front of my whole class<br />
with friends I made this year. I’ve played in two league<br />
Championships with the lacrosse team, and hope to win<br />
a third this spring. I have taken amazing classes and have<br />
had great teachers, several of whom have left lasting<br />
impressions on me. I’ve made friendships at Saint<br />
Anthony’s that mean the world to me, and I know I<br />
wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t met certain<br />
people over the last four years.<br />
I don’t think I can express how grateful I am for my expe -<br />
rience at Saint Anthony’s. I know I will carry the memories<br />
I’ve made and the lessons I’ve learned here with me in life.<br />
I will be attending Amherst College in the fall, and I am<br />
looking forward to bringing my Saint Anthony’s memories<br />
with me in the next stage of my life.<br />

Coming to Saint Anthony’s High School was the best<br />
decision I have made. It was pretty much a no brainer<br />
to make, though. The teachers are great, the sports and<br />
extracurricular activities are wonderful and, overall, the<br />
environment is superb. It is pretty hard to pick one thing<br />
that’s my best memory but if I had to pick it would have<br />
to be football. Playing football at this school gave me so<br />
much joy I can’t put it into words to describe. All of my<br />
classmates, as well as other teammates that I played<br />
football with, are some of the best friends I’ve made at<br />
Saint Anthony’s. I’m not exactly sure yet what college<br />
I will attend, but I am looking to go to an Ivy League<br />
school like Yale or Princeton.<br />

Four years ago I began a new chapter in my life as I<br />
walked through the doors of Saint Anthony’s High<br />
School. Anxiously nerves pervaded through my body.<br />
I did not know what to expect. Questions ran through<br />
my mind. Was I going to fit in? How was I going to<br />
know my way around this huge building? A little fish in<br />
a big pond, I made my way to the auditorium extremely<br />

intimidated. Little did I know that as I stood there timid<br />
and apprehensive this school would soon become my<br />
second home.<br />
After a day my nerves were released and I felt welcomed,<br />
as if I had been attending Saint Anthony’s my entire life.<br />
In time Saint Anthony’s was no longer a place where I<br />
came to learn but a place where memories have been<br />
made, memories that will be cherished forever with<br />
people I will remember forever. When asked if I have<br />
a “favorite” memory from Saint Anthony’s I become<br />
speechless because every memory shared here has<br />
become one of my best memories; memories I hold<br />
close to my heart.<br />
One highlight from my years at Saint Anthony’s occurred<br />
this past fall when I was lucky to share in winning the<br />
State Soccer Championship with the Friars on our home<br />
field. There are no words to explain the feeling that<br />
rushed throughout my body as I held up the plaque with<br />
the other captains. My teammates and I were a family<br />
and we worked extremely hard to achieve our goal. I<br />
would not have wanted to end my high school soccer<br />
season with any other teammates, any other way.<br />
Looking back it is hard to believe how quickly time flew;<br />
my senior year is almost at a close. These four years have<br />
gone by in the blink of an eye, but I have enjoyed every<br />
minute. I was truly blessed to have been able to not only<br />
attend Saint Anthony’s but to be a part of the Saint<br />
Anthony’s family. I would not change a thing. I was able<br />
to be a teammate, serve as a Eucharistic Minister and work<br />
to my full potential as a student. If I could I would be that<br />
anxious freshman again and again. As I close this chapter<br />
in my life a new chapter will begin as I will be attending<br />
and playing soccer at Sacred Heart University this fall.<br />

Memories last a lifetime. They enable you to see every<br />
emotion and bring back feelings that you think you forgot<br />
about. I can honestly say every memory I have of Saint<br />
Anthony’s has taught me a lesson and I’ll never forget<br />
them. I have learned many life lessons and have met many<br />
amazing people.<br />
One of my favorite memories from my high school<br />
experience (so far) was my junior year lacrosse season. It<br />
was my third year on varsity and I had the honor of being<br />
voted captain of such an amazing lacrosse program. This<br />
past season went by so quickly. The tryouts feel as if they<br />
were yesterday. We were the most hard-working team and<br />
had the most heart and desire. We had one goal in mind.<br />
The goal was to be the best team we could possibly be.<br />
We put aside our problems for two hours a day, six days a<br />
week, even sometimes at five in the morning. We worked<br />
through pain and tears to make ourselves better athletes<br />
and teammates. While we were working our bodies to<br />
learn new dodges and techniques, our team formed into<br />
a family. We were like sisters. We had each other’s backs
