Lynn counsels clientson a wide range of issues pertaining to chemical hazard, exposure and risk assessment, riskcommunication, and related legal and regulatory aspects of conventional and nanoscale chemicalregulatory programs under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), theToxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization andRestriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation, and on issues pertinent to the domestic andinternational regulation of nanoscale materials, nanotechnology, and other emergingtransformative technologies.Charles M. Auer is President of Charles Auer & Associates, LLC. Charlie was former Directorof EPA’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT) from September 2002 to January2009, where he was responsible for the management and direction of the nation’s chemical andpollution prevention programs. Prior to heading OPPT, Charlie was Director of the ChemicalControl Division from 1992 until September 2002. Prior to that time, Charlie held numerousleadership positions in what was then called the Office of Toxic Substances. Aidala is Senior Government Consultant with Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. Jim servedas Assistant Administrator (AA) for the Office of Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances(OPPTS) under the Clinton Administration from 2000 until the end of the Administration in2001. Prior to serving as AA, Jim was Associate AA for OPPTS from 1993 to 2000. Prior tothat, Jim served in various positions within the Congressional Research Service, on Capitol Hill,and at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).James C. Lamb, IV, Ph.D., DABT, is Principal Scientist and Center Director with Exponent.Dr. Lamb has extensive experience in toxicology, risk assessment, and scientific and regulatorypolicy. Dr. Lamb has provided consulting services to numerous clients for over 20 years. Priorto Exponent, Dr. Lamb served as Special Assistant to the Assistant Administrator for Pesticidesand Toxic Substances at EPA.
