Play dinosaur gamesand make dinosaur crafts. This camp is perfect for youngdinosaur fans eager to learn more about their favoritedinosaurs!Junior PaleontologistsBecome a real paleontologist for the week! “Visit thefield” (on MOR grounds) and “discover” a real fossil. Helpbring the fossil back to MOR, prepare it with help from apaleontologist, and show your friends and family on Fridayafternoon.Astronauts in TrainingLearn what it takes to be an astronaut and launch-off ona mission to the Moon in this out-of-this-world adventure,discover how rockets work (and launch many of your own)and find out what it’s like to live in space.StargazersDiscover the night sky and learn about planets, stars, andother deep space objects. Watch planetarium shows,make your own telescope, and test your new knowledgeby looking through telescopes and finding constellationsduring a sleepover at the MOR on Thursday night.Living HistoryStep back in time and become a member of the Tinsleyfamily for the week. Help around the house with chores andcooking every day, make pioneer crafts, adn play pioneergames. Period costumes are welcome (but not required) inthis immersive living history adventure.Nanotechnology CampGet small and discover the world of nanotechnology (thestudy of really small things). Find out how nanotechnologyhas the potential to change the way we live as you try outlots of hands-on experiments and visit with MSU scientistsin their labs.Explore YellowstoneExplore the science behind Yellowstone. Meet themicrobes that live in thermal features, learn why NASA isresearching these creatures, make your own geyser andwearable Yellowstone art, and more.Mad ScienceExciting explosions and crazy experiments make this campperfect for budding young mad scientists. Put on yourMOR-issued lab coat and protective goggles for a weekand see just how cool science can be in this chemistry andphysics-based camp.
