March, 2009KILNS forFusion-6Kilns may not be exactly as shownParagon’s new Fusion series digital hot glass kilns come in 6, 7, 8 and 10-sided versions. TheOvation-10 model is 10-sided and elongated for extra capacity. In Ovation and Fusion seriesmodels, a heavy galvanized steel base covers the brick bottom completely. It folds up underthe stainless case on all sides to strengthen the firing chamber. Pearl 18 and 22 kilns featurea top that lifts away to give access to the shelf area from three sides. Air pistons assist inlifting the top. You can place the Pearl on a table without an extra stand. The digital SentryXpress 3 key controller comes standard on all kilns; it includes two modes: Single Speed and8-segment Ramp-Hold.
