Additionally, in spring 2005, WMFE Newsprovided detailed coverage of the indictment ofOrlando Mayor Buddy Dyer for alleged campaignirregularities, and the subsequent dropping of thosecharges.Countdown to DiscoveryWMFE produced anddistributed nationwide thelatest in a series of majordocumentaries about theSpace program. CountdownDiscovery examined thedangers and emotionsconnected to a Shuttleflight through the eyes ofAstronauts, their familiesand the American people.
