Need help with your paper/essay? Math got you down? Looking for a study group? Resources Help is available! In addition to the Project REACH staff of Ken Embry—math; Patti Dellas—writing; Melanie Roman—marketing; and Berta Keeler—Microsoft Office; there are six professional tutors and ten peer tutors in the Center for Teaching and Learning. Tutors are available for one-on-one and group sessions to help with assignments, papers, and study skills. If you are feeling stuck on homework, or need someone to help proofread your essay, come see one of the tutors for help. Opportunities for Financial Aid! The Hispanic Scholarship Fund has several scholarships available for college students with Hispanic heritage in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $30,000. Applications are just now becoming available for a number of scholarships, with more opening up each month. My parents keep pressuring me to find a job and don’t understand that I can’t find one! I am not getting along with my roommate. I am so overwhelmed with all my projects, homework assignments, and tests that I do not know where to start! If you are stuck, sad, confused, or just need to talk, remember that Project REACH staff are here for you. Members may contact Audrey Dreier-Morrison to work through personal issues. First year students are always welcome to contact their Peer Mentor for support and guidance. Also, keep in mind that the Counseling Center is available to all Cazenovia College students. You are not alone! Cultural Events Unfortunately, all of us have been impacted by the current economic situation. Project REACH, a federally funded Student Support Services (SSS) program, has been impacted too. We will continue to provide you with opportunities to attend a variety of cultural events, however, we must focus on low or no-cost activities.
