BasicsQuarantine• There are a variety of quarantine methods available, eachwith varying strengths and weaknesses• The quarantine holds ‘soft targets’ that can be easilyattacked and penetrated into– There is a reason why an element is in quarantine…– Does not comply with the security policy (patch, A/V, etc.)– The level of security of these elements will be the lowest ofall elements residing on the network• !
