York & Windell, 2006Cold-Plasma Beam ExperimentsExperimental Overview: In the corona discharge plasmabeamdevice shown, the electrodes are being driven by twoindependently controlled high voltage oscillator/drivers, eachoperating at variable frequencies, pulse widths and phaseangles. The plasma is formed across an arc gap between thetwo magnetic electrodes which are contained in a high vacuumtube cavity, and forms a spinning plasma-vortex that travelsthe entire length of the tube, as seen in experimental photos.
