Welcome and Introductions2. Funded Projecta. Downtown master plani. Jack Meadows, Gabriel Soltren and Pamela Hawe discussed the planningprocess and who the master plan has been presented to. The LeadershipTeam discussed the plan, which was strongly objected to by DanSundberg.ii. Sarah Marion motioned to approve plan and Gabriel Soltren second.Motion removed – motion to vote next month on plan.b. Business Corridor Wayfinding Signagei. Gabriel Soltren discussed sign proposals. The committee recommendsthe NC Signs proposal. A motion was made to approve the proposal fromNC Signs. The motion was approved.ii. The group has $13000 for signs currently. Sign budget discussed. Wouldlike to have $200 for advertising. Approved.c. Central Parki. Travis Cohn and Dan discussed the history of the project and currentideas. Going back to the property behind the Art Incubator. Leadershipteam discussion of the property.ii. Dan: Soil Boling/Sampling for $2200 with same engineer as the Phase Iwas done with, with written permission from owner. Travis second –approved.

d. Rocky River Nature Trail – no reporte. Milo Holt Western Film Festivali. Pam, Linda, Ray reported the NC Rural Center gave approval to spendmoney on advertising and equipment.ii. The group is working on a budget that will include equipment and eventsign expenses.iii. Ray has equipment and he doesn’t think the team should spent moneyon the equipment.f. Bridges & Seeds Learning & Microfinance Gardeni. Sarah Marion reported the garden has 10 raised beds ado – bed –starting with 5 $3230. Motion was approvedg. Branding Implementationi. The committee received information from the designer for a websitedesign and presented it to the STEP Team. A motion was made toapprove the design, which was approved.h. NC DOT Pedestrian Plani. The group quested $3100 for project. Motioned and approved.i. Downtown Façade Improvement – no reportj. Exploresilercity.com – no reportk. Plugging Money & Energy Leaks – no report3.
