ThE LEADING CONFERENCE
GPD 2009
GPD - an ACE for Challenging Times
The GPD has been successfully arranged for a number of years and can well be
called a tradition. But it is much more than that. Over the years we have inspired the
interest groups of the glass industry to perform better and more efficiently primarily by
exchanging information & technologies and expanding the horizons of the industry.
We have done this together and have seen amazing dimensions of what glass can
do – in energy economy, in solar applications and many other aspects. We have
also seen the importance of providing the GPD as a source of inspiration and an
ace for tough times. It is important not to duck when times are tough but to look
forward and invite better times by positive action.
Doing this cost-effectively is the special Ace of the GPD itself. Your trump card for
challenging times.
