Art. 18 f of the IORP-Directive for examplecovers the topic of IORP-investments to its sp<strong>on</strong>sor-undertaking(s) that would inevitably also have to beincluded within the revised FICOD <strong>and</strong> would thus imply double (c<strong>on</strong>tradictory) supervisi<strong>on</strong>.For these reas<strong>on</strong>s, IORPs are neither part of the “financial sector” nor comparable to financial instituti<strong>on</strong>s<strong>and</strong> should therefore not be included within any definiti<strong>on</strong> of “financial sector”.
