Combined Air-conditioning and Power SystemFischer Panda CAPS is a highly sophisticated Combined Air-conditionerand Power System for container-based applications requiring electricalpower, advanced ECU heating and air-conditioning capabilities. By fullyutilising performance, management and self testing features, the CAPScan maintain an optimal environment for sensitive electronic equipmentand personnel to operate in.Thermal management: An innovative coupling of generator cooling andECU system can supply heat from three different sources: heat as “byproduct” from the generator cooling system, integrated diesel heatingand heat produced electrically. The ECU has a cooling capacity of2x8kW.Active performance management: Adjusts the air conditioner’s outputdepending on the altitude. This will ensure efficient electrical supply to theshelter. Electrical systems are supplied by 12kVA from the generator viamultiple electrical outlets with isolation transformer protection. Upon lossgrid power, the generator is automatically started and the supply switchedto the generator. This can also be done manually.Advanced “built-in” test equipment: Designed for command unitsmaintaining a heightened “battle readiness” and who are expectingdisruption or total loss of the mains power grid.
