ABOUT THE EDITORS<br />
John C. Crotts is Associate Professor <strong>and</strong> Director of the Hospitality<br />
<strong>and</strong> Touristn Management Program of the School of Bus<strong>in</strong>ess <strong>and</strong> Economics,<br />
at the College of Charleston. He has also been a visit<strong>in</strong>g researcher<br />
at the Bornholm Research Centre <strong>in</strong> Denmark, a lecturer ofthe<br />
Tourism Centre at Otago University, Duned<strong>in</strong>, New Zeal<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> Director<br />
ofthe Center for Tourism Research <strong>and</strong> Development at the University<br />
of Florida. His research encompasses the areas of economic<br />
psychology, <strong>tourism</strong> market<strong>in</strong>g strategy, <strong>and</strong> <strong>management</strong> of cooperative<br />
<strong>alliances</strong>. In addition to serv<strong>in</strong>g as the editor of International Journal<br />
of Hospitality & Tourism Adm<strong>in</strong>istration, he also serves on the editorial<br />
board of the Journal of Travel & Tourism Market<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> the Pacific<br />
Area Tourism Review.<br />
Dimitrios Buhalis is Senior Lecturer <strong>in</strong> Tourism at the University of<br />
Westm<strong>in</strong>ster <strong>and</strong> visit<strong>in</strong>g faculty <strong>in</strong> several European Universities. He is<br />
also Chair of the Association of Tourism Teachers <strong>and</strong> Tra<strong>in</strong>ers <strong>and</strong><br />
Committee Member of the International Federation of Information<br />
Technology <strong>and</strong> Tourism. He has chaired the ENTER 1998, 1999 <strong>and</strong><br />
2000 conferences <strong>and</strong> is a consultant to the World Tourism Organisation.<br />
Roger March is Lecturer <strong>in</strong> Tourism Market<strong>in</strong>g, University of New<br />
South Wales, Sydney, Australia <strong>and</strong> Executive Director, Inbound<br />
Tourism Studies Centre. He has done extensive consult<strong>in</strong>g work on the<br />
Asian <strong>and</strong> Japanese <strong>tourism</strong> markets. Clients have <strong>in</strong>cluded Qantas Airways,<br />
Australian Tourist Commission, Tourism New South Wales, <strong>and</strong><br />
the Inbound Tour Organisation of Australia (ITOA).
